The proposal to rebranding the Free TON network was approved by gaining more than 50% in the vote on the proposal to rename the project to Everscale. The TON Crystal coin will be called the ticker EVER.

"We need to get rid of the restrictions imposed by the history and heritage of the TON brand in order to grow at a new stage of the project's development. In particular, in order to achieve listing of the native coin on leading exchanges and to be able to conclude major partnership agreements, especially in the US," the description of the proposal submitted to the onchain vote says.

Everscale to be listed on European exchange ZBX
