No matter how legit a crypto community seems to look like. Don't ever hope on them for better suggestions of the best altcoin to invest in. Do your research no matter how the hype a particular coin cos that's the way they deceived my friend of investing in a shitty coin that no value due to the steady hyped they were given the coin through the telegraph group he joined

If it's not the coin where you allocate more than 10% of your portfolio, you may not really join a community but that will also leave you out of the information of what is happening to the project. Telegram channels are created by teams for constant community and that is why they want you to join as well for the community to grow because having a big community is a good factor for positive growth.
