this is really going to shake up and the bears are already here. the start of a bear market is coming and exactly the reason selling when the market is already at its peak is necessary so that you could be the first to invest when the market plummets this low.

I want to share my cool experience about holding Bitcoin.

I become busy last year and decided to totally disconnected on crypto market or news to focus on my studies and extra job to earn despite pandemic last December 2021 when Bitcoin is on the early Bullish trend. It's really good to see now that my Bitcoin was already X2 the initial money that I earn on signature campaign here. I never though that Bitcoin price will go this far and I decided to take some profit although the current price is at correction.

Really happy to choose holding rather than convert it fiat by the time I decided to leave crypto.

First, I believe the OP meant December 2020 here.  
But congratulations for seeing your earned btc to grow in value, even if we are now at 50k, still it is way higher than last year.

I'm fairly new to BTC.  When I bought it BTC was hyped on YT.  Now during this dip I'm seeing YT videos saying we may be in a bear market.  Do they mean bull markets and bear markets happen monthly because that's how often I see peaks and dips on the graph since Jan 2021.  Or do they mean we are in a bear market like 2017 -2020?  How can we be in a bear market the minute all institutions entered the market and when the NYSE is about to register BTC and all the infrastructure is being built for it to become the new gold?  In 2017 we ran up to 40k w no infrastructure or institutional interest.  Its seems to be a different BTC environment now, no?  Nothing like 2017.

Most YTers don't know what they are talking about.
Bull or bear season is a very subjective matter. So they can say anything they feel that can attract subscribers.
I believe not many YouTubers have real experience in crypto that can give better insights to beginners.
Maybe, better for you to roam around this forum as you can read a ton of knowledge/opinions/insights or whatever you may call it.

What makes us happy and most satisfied is to buy Bitcoin at low prices and when selling prices increased by two, triple. Not everyone pateverly waiting and boldly spend money to store Bitcoin while prices are falling sharply. It is the boldness to help you get rich and you deserve so. It's always fulfilling on the part of the investors if its investments have double or triple the price from the time it was started. With bitcoin, although we know its a very risky investment but if you take chances and deal with it properly, you will never be  a loser in the end. Holding may take some time to make profits but the returns is definitely worth the wait. You may have double your profits if you had come back earlier when the price touches $60k above.

The easiest way to make profit from Bitcoin is indeed with Bitcoin holding, I'm happy with those of you who managed to profit 2x. Your decision is
very right by choosing holding Bitcoin when you want to leave crypto for a while, ultimately what you do yields extraordinary results. Indeed now
the price of Bitcoin is now dropping below the price of $ 50k, but compared to the price of Bitcoin when you decide to leave crypto the increase is

Personally, I've been busy with my studies and learning new stuff so I don't really have time to monitor BTC's market price which is why holding is the best option for me. Whether the price goes up or down doesn't really bother me at all because I'm into the long-term profit and will take profit when times come. So if you don't want to stress out yourself on analyzing and observing the market movement daily, just hold haha.

That was a good decision indeed. Most that believe in Bitcoin and have been around the market for a while would understand that, the bull market has not started yet as at that time and though even when you dont know when that will happen, HODLing assets like Bitcoin for a long time is never a loss, you can only double your profit only if you have patience with the market fluctuations.

As of writing this, it is now above 55k+ (58k to be exact). Might retake 60k once again, if it breaches past that price like in a surge or something, I would say it call for 70k as possible ATH soon.

You should set amount of dip you aimed to buy since it may take time before too much dip price will happen or may not really happen since many were adopting in these new developments as well crypto adoptions. Some companies may follow other companies footsteps who are already in crypto. The price is too volatile to monitor every now and then so consider having plans before handof what ifs situation will happen.

Even if new companies plan on investing in cryptocurrency they will be aware of the huge risks involved to invest at this price unless they wanted to take a chance and i highly doubt every company will be willing to do that. The correction is bound to happen as these investors will book their profit and i am sure they are not here for the long in terms of holding but they will book their profits and then re enter again and the market will continue moving like that.

The price is too volatile to monitor every now and then so consider having plans before handof what ifs situation will happen.

You can look for application that will ring a notification when the price moves a certain valuation so that you do not need to physically monitor the market all the time.

Waiting for a deep! that's funny talk!, no one knows where is the actual deep, short trader and emotional trader are always being caught, do your technical research and buy Bitcoin when you have cash available, cause all technical analysis are indicating future upward movement. if you want to take part in this bullish journey then buy and hold until it reached to your target. if you are waiting for deep you will never buy it at deep, cause today's High is the next day's deep.

Still to early to tell there, there has been speculation like $100k in social media platforms and I've been telling them as well that it is still too early to tell, but pretty sure the price correction we're getting lately is like a drawback for it to be launched to another ATH. hehe

You are the luckiest person because you didn't exchange bitcoins for fiat and came back at the right time, but I don't think it's a good strategy to hold bitcoin without looking at market movements at all because we know the price of bitcoin is very volatile so maybe it could rise sharply and fell very deep.
