Stoploss can help you to save your positions from getting liquidated. I got liquidated twice 100usd each.
No one can predict the exact price movement. So if you dont want a stoploss you are gambling your money.

Stop loss is very important if you want to trade wisely. Stop loss saves me from losing more money, and this one works for me but of course you need to have your own strategies and techniques to manage everything. If you don't know what to do when the market dumps, better not to panic and assess your strategies or look for other way that fits on your trading style. Some don't use stop loss at all but they still remain profitable because they are buying at the bottom price and sell at the peak price. Since market price is not stable, stop loss is the best way to manage your losses.

trading is not theory, because practice is more important in trading so we know the strategy to stay afloat. one of them is stop loss, which is very helpful for traders to secure capital when the analysis is wrong. that way, losses can be cut automatically

I think Stoploss is one of the best tool to safe from big loss.  Sometimes market crash very hard due to bad news like china News which crashed whole market in an hour. Those who added stoploss has saved theirs money. Regret i not used stop loss that time and loss 1000$ +.

There is ONE way, to trade without an SL... you can use hedge positions, instead of an SL. BUT this requires a shitload of practice in btcusd and really is nothing for new trades. It works great, if you know what you are doing, I love to do so in the indices.

I would say: If you are investing (like loooong Term) there is no Stop Loss needed, but you should still observe what happens, once a week or so.
If you are trading, depending on your broker, your account might go into the negative and therefore you absolutely need and SL, imho. Especially with BtcUsd where it can happen in seconds, if you have bad luck...

You'll be able to maximize this tools having that kind of experienced, the importance of knowing how things

Indeed. Stop loss is very important in trading. I never trade without stop loss. It's like an armour in a battlefield. Even an expert who have lot of experience in trading will surely need this kind of strategy. I think that Stop Loss is also helping in some other way, and I don't see any wrong if ever someone use it when they do trade in the actual platform anyway. Stop Loss help us control losses unlike using it we might get feel bad and regret if we don't set it up our loss methods. As the proverb goes ‘a penny saved is a penny earned’ traders concentrate so much on the potential profits they can get that they do not put enough attention to their own capital, and this is kind of weird as the profits they could get are not even real right now but the money in the exchange they are using is very real and as such an effort should be made to protect it no matter what, but people get blinded by the profits they can get and as such they lose sight of the thing they should care the most about which is their own capital.

Stoploss is applicable only with margin, future trading. For Spot you cannot apply stoploss once you bought a coin.

Got in a discussion with a friend that recently started learning Technical Analysis and then he said he trades without using stop Loss. I told him no good trader trades without stop Loss. I tried to explain to him about the volatility and how trades can go against you especially as a new newbie and you can lose heavily. He seems adamant and I decided to leave him maybe he will learn from his own mistake if it happens. It seems there are also many traders that trade without stop Loss and I wonder how they do it conveniently.
