Considering this action along with making ColdCard source code no longer open source, it's clear Coinkite no longer care about open source community. What a shame.

On a side note, it doesn't seem GitHub publicize cease and desist they received, when they do that with DMCA request on https://github.com/github/dmca.

I always said that nvk is an biggest asshole ever and I was right!
It is confirmed now that he is egoistic mental patient and a nutcase.
This Djuri guy didn't reverse enginer or clone anything, he made everything himself and post it as open source, but nvk obvisouly hates open source!
Time to start campaign against c0dlcard and all other nvk crapware!

Appeal has been submitted to Github, and watch out guys if you use word CLOCK in your open source project nvk could also try to report you for ''stealing'' his tRadeEmArk'' because he doesn't have anything better to do in his poor life

 we just submitted an appeal to GitHub 🙏 the gist (no pun intended 😄) is that generic words like clock can't be trademarked and that there is no likelyhood of confusion.

I haven't been that active in the past few months so I'm not updated on all fronts ^{[e.g. NVK's issues with Foundation, Seedsigner, etc...]}, but it appears that nvk wasn't expecting BTClock to have a chance in the beginning and as soon as Djuri started adding more features to BTClock, he chose to take out the competition to salvage their overpriced products ^[SMH]!

I don't want to waste time talking about nvk and his pathetic behavior, but I am glad to see that everything is back to normal.

Same here... It adds a cozier vibe to any setup, but apart from the bamboo plate, the one with the front light is already out of stock in the official store while Bitsaga is selling it for €70 more and that one doesn't come with the bamboo plate.

First of all, congrats on your work, I really like it and I have always been interested in/ wanted a BTC clock.
I don't have the knowledge though to assemble it myself, so in any case I will have to get the complete version of the clock. Unfortunately, in the country I am in, it will cost a lot to ship it and I imagine that the taxes will be equally expensive. So, I don't know if it's even worth asking about it. Plus as I see on your site, it's out of stock.
Anyways, once again congrats on your project, and keep up!

It's good to see they host the code elsewhere, although it'll impact it's popularity on long term. Anyway, i wanted to check whether BTCClock's code pose similarity with CoinKite Blockclock, but i unable to find code for it. I'll let OP says whether he's actually involved on either project. But IMO word "enthusiast" is better term to describe someone who support and sharing words about certain project.

You can basically customize and change BTClock anyway you want, and ordering wooden or bamboo plate locally should not be a problem.

It is showing real time Bitcoin price with blockchain mempool status, and it's made by satoshiradio and code is released as open source.
Everything is based on Raspberry Pi Pico 2 and Pimoroni Display Pack 2.8, case can be 3d printed, and instructions are available on github page posted below.

Hardware Requirements:

-Raspberry Pi Pico 2 WH
-Pimoroni Display Pack 2.8 (or 2.0)
-3D printed case
-4x M2 x 5mm bolts
-Laser cut acrylic
-Angled Micro USB cable

Unfortunately, I've encountered a bit of a stumbling block when I tried ordering the 3D printed case & acrylic front from their website ^{[it keeps showing the "There are no items in your cart yet." error (BTW, I'm well aware of the STL files, but I prefer not to use a local service from my area)]}. Am I the only one with this issue?

I am getting a "The shop is currently closed. Please keep an eye on our social media for updates" and cannot order anything
Also, they only ship to The Netherlands and Belgium which IIRC you are not it (could be wrong) so that might have generated a different error before they shut it down.

If you don't mind checking out this alternative acrylic front manufacturer Hingping that could make you an exact one suitable for the ticker, and as well laser cutting, which is supposed to be the hardest part of the DIY, you'll just have to forward the necessary measurements as written on the 'asset file' to the producer. I also found some providers on Alibaba but they're exclusive looking at bulk orders.

Pls do your research about them, if you consider it an option.

In place of the 3D printed case, I can probably use their CNC/laser cutting services, but in order to do that, I have to heavily modify the STL file and the end result wouldn't be as good as a 3D printed one ^{[unfortunately]}.

You may not need them for the 3D printing case, all you have to do is to look up on Google for "Online 3D printing service" make a choice and create an account with them, then check for their upload section and upload the STL file, many of them would direct you on how to pick the right printing option, then get a quote which includes the price, and shipping costs. The few I saw ship to everywhere in the world. I hope it helps.
