Really? When we were first using Dogecoin in 2013 this guy had no idea about it and now he calls himself the Dogefather just because he is rich and bought tons? It's all market manipulation folks, wake up! The only Dogefather is Jackson Palmer the guy who created the coin.

With his "smart" tweets he controls the price and newbies are falling into this trap! I don't know about you but I'm very disappointed. He's probably using Dogecoin to increase his BTC capital.

Remember, 98 addresses control > 67% of all Dogecoins. Dogecoin has become what it is, a joke coin.

Lucky for those who aren't into much of this altcoin shit. My major concerns has been mostly about established coins, we could say that about Dogecoin too but not as much as we could refer to Eth, Ltc and Xrp. Musk has been a string that helps as much as much as brings some demerits to the many that don't trade the market carefully but be about the sentiments of market influences like Elon Musk. Just yesterday I saw a thread about him @Musk not to have sold or taken any profit out of his bitcoin investment but presumably, Tesla being the company he represents has. Who knows the truth to this statement, as you can't correctly ascertain the later.

Well, he might as well call himself whatever he wants and it isn't because his rich, its about his freewill and being able to move the Digesting as much as his doing is his one way ticket to being father. Its left for us to agree and presume him to be or not but, it really doesn't matter much. What matters is how the people takes these tweets.

I'm confused.Is he even joking/trolling?Is he slowly becoming narcissistic?Perhaps his giant ego is taking control over him,so he wants all the money and fame.What's the point of becoming a SNL host?
He has the right to make jokes about Dogecoin or Bitcoin or any other coin.The problem is that his jokes make the market a little more turbulent and some people are losing money(mostly because of their own naivety/stupidity,rather than his jokes).
The real problem is that we are paying attention to his trolling.

I really hate this Elon Musk, all he wants to do is to manipulate the market because of his tweets he is slowly manipulating the people and of course the tokens. Just imagine what he has done in Dogecoin which is really a meme coin and yet it surges up because of the tweets and being the host of Elon Musk. That's how brands stay on top, they advertise look at the big stocks most of them are shilling their product and it resulted an increase in sale plus it is human behavior to follow someone's words because they have a reputation.

The money's gotta be just a nice bonus. Doubt he'll even ever need to cash in for years to come. The fame and ego boost, ah, those are what motivate him right now. Amd he probably believes it all trickles over into Bitcoin, which is what matters to him. Not to mention all the added interest and coolness for Tesla which, money can't really buy directly.

Don't really get why people are mad though. Crypto is always ready for the next influencer. Win or lose DOGE or alts... Bitcoin ends up winning. When the seas run red and weak hands capitulate anyway.

I have to admit that this is a very good marketing strategy by Elon. Now a lot of people are talking about it, following what they have to say and all this brings him profit.

Well done for everyone who's made a profit with Doge price fluctuation, but I fear there are many more who have a loss. I'm leaving this coin because I don't want to wait for the goodwill of one guy and what he will say.

I think they are smart to use the moment Dogecoin reaches a high peak before and he wants to repeat that by tweeting about Dogecoin. Sooner or later, people will be bored about that, not about making money but I think many people are losing much money because they follow the tweet without research. I hope people become smart after what happened to Dogecoin before and research more before they follow something.

But we can not deny that Dogecoin can be their favorite coin as the coin can cover a low transaction fee.

It is because it is Elon but if it's just a random guy on twitter that tweets of the same words, there will be no attention and pump that will happen. But because it's him, majority of his followers are going to buy and sees every tweet related to Doge as a signal.

We've seen this before with McAfee but the difference is that Elon is consistent only with two cryptos.

Let's they freely to join the party but if they are not aware of liquidations, they will get losses or worse liquidations.

Liquidations will kill traders in two tails: short and long. Price moves up because short positions are killed/ liquidated. Oppositely, price will be crashed when long positions are killed/ liquidated.

Some big rises or deep falls can not be explained with demand and supply. They are appeared because of leverages, liquidations. Tweets are supports for future liquidations.

It's not today that I knew dogecoin to be a joke coin. Doge has never had a real use case aside from being a pump and dump coin over the years and the primary use case for DOGE has always been a gambling coin. But that might not work again since its becoming expensive with Elon Musk constant shilling that pushes up the price. But unlike you, I'm interested in making money so even if Elon Musk likes, he can shill doge all he wants as far as he gets my bags pumped, I'm good. People needs to understand that doge is just being overhyped now and one day, the value will drop a lot. I'm just taking advantage of this fact.

Yea don't get me wrong, I totally love the memes and banter. The only thing I don't like is the people that are going to jump in with pure confidence thinking that DOGE will make them rich. But I guess if it does come crashing down at some point, I guess it isn't Elon's fault; it's not like he's telling the people to buy it.

Well, I think he exaggerated if he meant himself there. But what if he meant that he's going to host the show and invite the creator of Doge or something like this? Or was it ruled out already?
In any case, you're right that it's a market manipulation, but he has the right to pump the coin if he feels like it, and those following Dogecoin's price dynamics can even profit from all of this publicity that he gives to this crypto.
However, I do agree that it would be nice of him to make disclaimers like 'I don't give financial advice' or 'Only invest what you can afford to lose'.

I wish I could do that.  I have about $500 worth of Dogecoin simply from merged mining at F2Pool.  It's a free gift they give to people who mine Litecoin on their pool.  Pretty cool actually.  It mines Doge every day for free.

Newbies in crypto don't know about this and they still keep buying above 0.1 cents. Even if you tell them that it can be easily dumped, they don't listen because they are blinded by Elon's hype. I just hope that they don't invest all of their capital just because he is a very influential guy. He is the only reason why doge is pumping crazy like that. If 10 or 20 of those addresses dump their coins it is already a big impact. Many people could lose huge amount of money in the future if he continues to hype it. There are many cryptos out there that are worth investing in, people should learn what is really worth of their money in the long run and has less risk than investing on dogecoin.

Well, if he can do it, he will and there's nothing we can do to counter it yeah, he's rich and can influence, and most likely he's using it for his own personal gains, but then again, it's not at the cost of others. If people are getting influenced, it's the people's fault, isn't it? Elon also said once, in a public, that not to put entire investment bags in crypto, as he very much knew he might influence some to that level that they can go all in in a crypto like Doge!
