I made a thread called

"Which stable coin is the cheapest + fastest for sending?
Between USDT, USDC, and DAI"

And it got deleted. I asked a mod and he said he didn't delete it but maybe it violated the first rule of the website about "No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads. "

So.... if that's the case sorry. Maybe this is such an obvious answer. Me being a noob I honestly dont know other than in terms of sending, XLM, Tron and XRP are much cheaper than Bit and Eth.

But if the thread was in fact a violation of rule 1 because it's just something everyone should know. Is there a website that teaches all of the basics of all of the different cryptos and their fees? I looked online and didn't find much other than stuff about the fees on bitcoin vs Eth vs others but it didn't talk about stable coins. So if there is like a wikipedia or website for all the cryptos I'll refer to that before asking on here.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

An archive of your (now deleted) thread: https://ninjastic.space/post/56935485

Maybe you genuinely wanted to know their difference, but the thread still looks like a one-line spammer thread (and we have a lot of that). Also, if you search "difference stablecoin crypto" or something similar on Google, you'll find some great material.

It's obviously spam because you are looking for the cheapest stable coin but almost all coins are the same and equally stable at $1.

What actually your purpose in asking them? They are all stable coins or you might be talking about withdrawal fees when withdrawing this stable coin?

Well, that's what I see in your topic that is why they got deleted from the mods or were reported by someone because of that title.

Thanks. I looked on those two websites, as well as have already researched a lot on them. I could probably write a 2 page essay on stable coins but I can't for the life of me find the exact transfer fees among them.

Lots of stuff about "withdrawing" fees and even trading fees but not much on sending from one crypto wallet to another. Like miner or gas fees.

Is there a site that legit just talks about the purely sending/transfer fees for each crypto?

The most obvious reason was that it was a low quality post which could also in turn attract spam from replying members.

If you look at the coins, it makes no sense comparing or asking about which one has the cheapest transaction fees and fastest confirmation speed because they are all just merely tokens on Ethereum blockchain

The fee you would pay to transfer USDT (ERC20) will be the same fee for USDC (ERC20) and DAI (ERC20) so I think the mod saw it as a low quality post/question.

You shouldn't even dwell on the why the thread was deleted. Just try to make better posts next time.

I knew most of that but thanks didn't know about Binance USD and some of the others. Though it doesn't say if they're ERC-20 or not. I assume BUSD is powered by the Binance token though so that should be cheaper to send than the ERC-20 tokens. I'll have to look up if PAX and TUSD are ERC-20 tokens as it doesn't say in the website there.

The most obvious reason was that it was a low quality post which could also in turn attract spam from replying members.

I didn't know all ERC20 tokens cost the same to move, also didn't know that they were all ERC20 tokens in the first place but thank you guys for the info. Smiley

Sorry I'm so noobish at this stuff. One day I aspire to be pros like you guys!

That's a very simplistic thought. Each stablecoin is different. BUSD is controlled by Paxos, USDC by Circle, DAI is decentralized by MakerDAO, USDT by Tether, etc... you just can't say "they are equally stable at $1", because each one of them have their own risks and suspicious.

USDC and BUSD are both arguably way more trusted and less riskier than USDT, DAI is backed only by crypto, so you have the risk of the entire market falling 99% out of nowhere, etc... some of them are also cheaper to transact because they are available on other cheaper networks, which their competition may not be (e.g BUSD on Binance Chain, USDC on Solana...)

Wait so USDT is on TRC20? If it's on the Tron network then USDT would be the cheapest right?

Yes.

USDT on Tron is pobably the cheapest among the most accepted ones. I believe USDT on Algo is cheaper, and then there is also USDC on Solana, but neither of them are accepted on that many places.

yup you hear it right USDT is stable coin in multi chain, and for the TRC20 mostly exchange doesn't charge fee or charge 1-2 USDT only

you can see here https://wallet.tether.to/transparency right now USDT on 8 chain

Wait so USDT is on TRC20? If it's on the Tron network then USDT would be the cheapest right?

Yes, Tether (USDT) is a multi-chain token available on multiple networks (blockchains). Tether has been issued on the Omni, Ethereum, Tron, EOS, Liquid, Solana and Algorand blockchains (and maybe on some others I don't know).

The first tokens were issued on the Bitcoin blockchain by using the Omni Layer Protocol.
USDT-ERC20 is the USDT based on the ERC20 protocol with deposits and withdrawals taking place on the ETH network.
Similarly, USDT-TRON (TRC20) is the USDT based on the TRC20 protocol. The currency deposit address is the TRON address, with deposits and withdrawals taking place on the TRON network.
reference: https://community.trustwallet.com/t/tether-usdt-trc20-vs-erc20/61950

Likewise, there is also the USDT on EOS, Solana, Algorand and Liquid, yet the most used are ERC20 and TRC20.
Just make sure both the sender and the receiver support the selected protocol, and that the deposit address is correct.
