Honestly Elon Musk is so powerful and rich that he could literally get a whole coin go up in tens of billions of dollars in value and you think you can stop him with some petition? Sure, he will hurt the crypto world there is no doubt about that but that doesn't mean that he is doing it to hurt the crypto world, he is doing it to profit himself, if others can profit from it that is fine by him. What happens to crypto is none of his business, he doesn't care, he is agnostic about others profit, if they do make a profit all the better but if he makes profit from others losing that is fine too.

So, we do not have the power to stop him, I want to stop him as much as the next guy, I hated him ever since he closed the manufacturing place for getting into union, dude preferred closing a whole place instead of working with union conditions but no matter what you do, he is just more powerful.

I have no complaints against Elon Musk for his tweets and other actions, which many regard as advertising Doge and other cryptocurrencies. Besides, really, why should we resent the fact that the actions of Elon Musk are pumping up the price of Doge and not resent the fact that he likewise made good advertising for Bitcoin? In addition, many here are encouraging others to talk more about the benefits of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. These are actually the same actions as those of Elon Musk. The only difference is that we are not famous. However, this is not Elon Musk's fault, this is our fault.

Well, not really understanding why so many people blame and feel that Elon Musk is hurting this market, he's just the ideal starter as many other investors are doing, an act that was personal and discouraged people to follow but people remained persistent, having failed in this spiral and trying to blame others is just too childish. The person who is successful and clearly understands this situation will not have such petitions, the nature of the market is to use each other's mentality to create panic and trust, there's nothing wrong for Elon Musk.

Lol, this stuff is so weird. when the price goes up only by manipulation from someone who is rich, it can also go down easily because of someone. that's the capitalist market. You petition is good and I believe it's born out of good reasoning, but I doubt if it's going to make any impact at all on Elon musk, this is if at all he even sees it, don't forget we are talking about the world's richest man here, he will probably be too busy to see this petition except some how, the petition become very big and trending in the entire crypto space and on Twitter too, then and then alone is there a guarantee he might see it.
So right now I did just say you should relax, Elon won't be hurting the market, but those who blindly put their life savings in dogecoin are the ones who will be hurting themselves, Elon only tweeted about dogecoin, he never asked or forced any one to invest in it, people out of their own free will invested, when things go south, I personally expect them to count their losses and don't blame anyone.

You writing a petition won't stop Elon Musk from making his hype tweet about Dogecoin because every cryptocurrency is speculative material and the last time I check he (Elon Musk) even just make a new tweet about Dogecoin which says "Dogecoin as ‘Stimulus for People Kicked by Pandemic’ but Says ‘Please Invest With Caution".
With that been said, his hype messages will only hurt investors that make investment decision base on hype.

It's partly not Musk's fault that one tweet makes the market change. Even though he knows it. The crowd sees this as a foundation for growth and runs to buy as many coins as possible. Against this background, there is growth, hype and, accordingly, the risks are growing

Or better yet, don't buy doge if you are against with his disposition to crypto especially to doge. It is hard to get signed petition if a lot of people are looking up to Elon. They believe in him because of what he has achieved in life. So one easy way that you can do here, is not buy the coin he is endorsing with. Pretty simple on your end.

We must be more aware rather than taking him seriously. We all know he is creating hype by his tweets and many of the traders/investors follow him in hope of quick profit certainly at some point he will sell all his coins and those who are waiting for huge profit will end up in loss so do not fall in trap always exit at some point because greediness can cause huge loss. I don't think he even checks the petition but I appreciate your effort. He has all the right to sell at any point but investors should calculate the risk itself if they continue to hold its just my opinion its not financial advice.

im curious if what can happen when the meter reaches to 200 . will it notified elon with a message to stop manipulating the market ? but the decision was up to him if he has a soul he will stop this and you should do this to bitcoin too not only in doge  .
if doge pops it wont have a big effect in the market because most of the investors are in btc  .

I see no point trying this. Even if the petition had an effect, as long as people let themselves be influenced in their investment decisions, there will always be someone who exploits it.

IMO, There's no need for a petition like this because he won't be able to manipulate the market if no one sides with him simply because of his tweets. He understood that he has the ability to control people, which implies that he will also be able to control the market.

But if we are aware of what he is doing, the crypto market will not crash as a result of his tweets. People had so much faith in him that they dubbed him the "Father of Crypto," but after his recent actions, they realized the truth, and I hope that some others will soon open their eyes.

The investment problem is a matter of one's belief and trust in a particular industry, because every investment must always end in profit, that is a common thing that investors want, otherwise anyone would not want to invest in anything.

Agreed. But whether there is an exploitability problem depends on how belief and trust is established.

If it's established just by reading someone's Twitter feed, then it's easy to see that that person will always be able to "react" earlier than anyone else. The person can buy or sell before posting while anyone else can only do so after reading the post. Thus, the person that posts can always get the biggest part of the earnings (if there are any). If the profit margins are small, the person might even be the only one having positive profit from it.

People who act like this in spite of the obvious should not whine afterwards.
