Elon Musk is interested in fast and profit. Doge, btc or something else , not important. He saw he can manipulate and earn big , fast too so why not. Simple I think. He used moments when his twits were so influental and he will try again probably. With dogecoin or other.

As a Billionaire or had been the most rich man in the world then everything would really be on business or something that he can really profit on and this is just a typical thing to be seen on these kind of
people who are sitting on top ranks.

Business is the main priority and this fella do include crypto on his list and since he's financially capable then manipulating markets would really be easy.

Thing here as an investor is that  you should be wise on when and when not to make out such steps depending on the market sentiment.

no one knows why elon musk shilling doge coin not another coins, personally i am analize actually elon musk want to show and test his power could  and influence could shake the market or not. By doge case in which many traders rekted, could be importat lesson we should not trapped in FOMO or hype. In pump and dump coins we have to come earlier than other or will rekted.

If its just influence, he has known or atleast measured how much influence he has and I dont think he gonna go this far even making his own reputation tarnished among crypto investors. Its just maybe he just really like to troll people and thats it nothing else. His manipulations with coins will stop when the regulator pays attention to his actions. But the problem is that the cryptocurrency market is practically not regulated, and accordingly there is no responsibility for the violation. But if Elon Musk shills coins, as John McAfee did, he will end up the same way.

Elon loves this token due to the fact that this tokens logo is a shiba inu. That is his favourite dog breed and he was so very attached to it. This probably is the main reason for his investment in Doge and that's why he's shilling it everywhere. However, be very much aware that this coin is a meme coin unless everyone trust that this has a value which elon provides.

Isn't it very possible for those largest holders of Dogecoin assets to dispose of quickly?
if that happens, it will probably be very bad for dogecoin. at this time maybe they are still not actively viewing their assets. who would have thought dogecoin grow that high with Elon?

maybe that's how the rich and successful have fun. We can propose various theories as the reasons, but who knows if EM just randomly chooses Doge for fun? trying to gauge how much influence he has on the market? even we know that there are many other coins that are more potential and functional. In my opinion, Elon is interested in Doge because he knows that Doge is a meme with an extremely strong community. He wants to become more famous in the crypto world by building a community behind him.
