Since you're a newbie, go for reputable coins that have use cases. Besides the granddaddy (BTC), ETH, BNB, VET are good choices. If you took advantage of the dip yesterday, you should have made some gains.

HODL is important. You never lose if you don't sell. DCA if you can; i.e. buying more whenever the price drops.

I'm new to crypto still and I was wondering what should I be learning if I want to make profit from crypto? I was thinking just learn how blockchain works then smart contracts then learn PoW and PoS etc. Then maybe I learn some about popular coins then I just learn to use graphs and learn to trade. I already know about wallets and scam attempts phishing etc.

Is my strategy good or is this not good?

You are on right place already better focus on trading for a while and enhance your skills since from that option you can earn quite decent amount compare to the other options and possible it can give you long term profits if you became a good traders.

You need to read as much as possible. Join forums like this, telegram groups and discord groups. Understand that it is always supply and demand, which can be manipulated by FUD and fake claims etc. There is always an element of risk.

You need to learn not just one crypto but also other crypto. It is also good that you are knowledgeable about other crypto if you want to pay less fee.
