What is Venidium?

Venidium (XVM) is an EVM Blockchain for Esports, NFTs and other web3 applications.
By establishing new dataset access to blockchains, Venidium will bring startup projects and use cases for many different kind of ecosystems while staying independent from any blockchain itself.

The Venidium team will develop and launch their own products, but also enable other providers to use and provide data, ideas, and ecosystems.

To gain a better understanding of our vision in regards to our oracle and our products, we highly recommend reading the Whitepaper.


About Venidium

Our blockchain is based on Chia™, but why?

We believe in what Chia™ brings to the blockchain world. While Chia™ is already an economic friendly blockchain,
Venidium will use the same plots as the ones used for Chia™ farming, which establishes Venidium as a green blockchain by using
the same equipment that is already being used. Farmers can farm Venidium (PoST) at the same time with almost no overhead,
making Chia™ the perfect distribution channel for Venidium.

That being said, Venidium launches with 3 blockchain networks in total, but actually it’s only 2.

In order to be flexible and deliver high quality products, we will launch another network,
which will also inherit Venidium Coins as its native coin. All farmed Venidium (PoST) can be swapped 1:1 for other Venidium,
on any blockchain that we support. For the beginning the Venidium (PoST) blockchain will be based on Chia™ and a (EVM) DPoS blockchain will be created for future expansions.

The third “blockchain” is a blockchain-like network solely to coordinate oracle data providers,
so it’s going to be only used by the Venidium team and data providers that provide their services there.
Therefore, we don’t see it as a real blockchain, but more like communication channel between the data providers.

Why not just a single blockchain?

While Chia™ qualifies for our fair distribution needs it is not yet suitable for most of our other use cases.
In addition, the future expansion of our development team would be much easier for the EVM blockchain,
than for the Chia™ based blockchain. Lastly, having full access to DeFi, NFTs, Smart Contracts etc.,
is what brought us to the conclusion that we need a second blockchain, which might even end up as our main blockchain in the future.

So why not start directly with the DPoS EVM blockchain?

We decided that our distribution should not start with an ICO/IDO/ILO model,
in order to have a wide distribution range and to avoid pump & dump schemes by wealthy corporations or single high net worth entities.
We believe that we can achieve the best distribution this way, as a fair-launch blockchain.

Pre-farm info: The Pre-farm/Pre-mine will be generated and stored on the EVM Blockchain.

Block Time: Approx 18.75 seconds
Block Rewards: 640 / 320 / 160 / 80 / 0
Algorythm: PoST (PoSpace + PoTime)
Halvings: Every 3 months, no halvings after the first year.

Inflation:
Maximum 5% yearly inflation declining each year and only on Venidium (DPoS) through validating/staking.

Hello everyone,

we thank you again for staying with us for the past months.
Today we want to announce the start of our PoST Mainnet with target start time at
Thursday the 21st of October 2021 at 15:00 UTC.

Prior the launch we will also release the Whitepaper and make it available for download
on our website, which is already online by now at https://www.venidium.io
Not all links are working yet, but we will take care of that within the next few days, too.

After the launch of the mainnet, once we made sure everything is running smooth, we will start preparing for the EVM PoA Blockchain Testnet launch.
-> Keep in mind, the airdrop for PoST testnet participants will be claimable on the EVM PoA Mainnet Blockchain, but we will give further information
on how to claim these rewards at a later stage.
Make sure not to lose access to your Venidium Keys, which you used to farm on Kition testnet.

With those things being said, we took a snapshot of the Kition testnet at block 293100 for the community rewards.

We will be pushing a new Venidium PoST Client, that enables users to farm and send transactions on PoST Mainnet at 14:30 UTC on 21st October 2021.

Release Schedule Update:

The past months we have been working hard to come to this point and today we want to go through the upcoming release phases for the EVM Venidium Blockchain.

Phase 1: Public Testnet Access (WN08 - WN09)
-> In this phase users can set up and test the new features that come together with Venidium EVM. Delegate your XVM to a validator,
or become a validator yourself with a few clicks on our new upcoming EVM block explorer*. We will also introduce the XVM EVM Bridge where
you can already test out the protocol that you will be using after the Mainnet launch to transfer your Venidium to the new Blockchain.
The Venidium Core team will be actively supporting users in Discord and Telegram that want to test out the new features and also
will be available for feedback of the new experience.

Phase 2: EVM Mainnet Launch (WN09 - WN10)
-> Once the public testing is over we will launch the EVM mainnet, people that are willing to become a validator are advised to start

Afterwards we will be announcing new bounties and community tasks for the upcoming marketing phase.

The rest is pretty much self-explanatory, if you need help in the process, do not hesitate to ping the @Venidium Officials Team. There is no minimum amount of Coins to bridge, so you can use any 0.0XX amounts.

Our planned release date after successfully testing the bridge and last few preparations is Wednesday, 1st of June. You will afterwards have plenty of time to bridge over, so that you can start start staking your XVM. (Exact times TBA)

We are planning to launch enough validators on our own to keep the network stable but we would appreciate any community driven nodes as it ensures decentralization. (Nodes without staking validators also are fine, but they generate no staking rewards.)
