Strike and Bitcoin joined sponsorship for Ed Carpenter Racing team and they will have number 21 Bitcoin Chevrolet in this year Indianapolis 500 race.
Ed Carpenter Racing will also be the first INDYCAR team to integrate Bitcoin as a payment option for all of its employees!
Raised funds raised will be used for open source Bitcoin development and for Indianapolis charities.

I found out some betting websites have betting on Indycar racing (Unibet, WilliamHill, MansionBet...) but none of them accepts Bitcoin and crypto.

Who will be the first crypto betting website to add betting on Indycar racing, Sportsbet.io, Stake, Betnomi, Cloudbet or someone else?

Check out the process of painting the formula with Bitcoin logos:

I never knew that Indycar race cars look pretty much identical to Formula 1, is the track always an oval shape like with Nascar? It's nice to see more sponsorship mentioning Bitcoin slip into the mainstream and it is slowly breaking down barriers to reach people who might otherwise never see it on a regular basis. There seems to be quite a few sports that are not captured by the mainstream bookmakers, I guess they require explicit access to the fastest live viewing technology to be able to take in-play bets, but even if they don't have access to that they could settle them shortly after the end of the race.

This takes me back to 2014, when Josh Wise on NASCAR drove a Dogecoin-sponsored car on Talladega. I was one of those who made that happen and boy that was quite an experience. I still have the shirt they gave out as a token of appreciation. Spreading awareness and the first time I think in the world of car racing, not the usual a placing or posting advertisement throughout the racetracks.

A racing enthusiast will surely notice that as they are heavily keen on most of the car details.

Who will be the first crypto betting website to add betting on Indycar racing, Sportsbet.io, Stake, Betnomi, Cloudbet or someone else?

I think a little bump about this on their respective thread might ring the bell lol. Although of course, there's a consideration.

The design is really beautiful if that is the same as the picture in the first post here.Indy racing is happening as far as I know only in the USA and that is a good exposure for Bitcoin there although in the USA most of the young people are already aware of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general.

Who will be the first crypto betting website to add betting on Indycar racing, Sportsbet.io, Stake, Betnomi, Cloudbet or someone else?
I'd bet on Sportsbet and Stake here since they are that known for getting huge sponsorship and it's just a matter of time that they will be interested into Indycar.

This takes me back to 2014, when Josh Wise on NASCAR drove a Dogecoin-sponsored car on Talladega. I was one of those who made that happen and boy that was quite an experience. I still have the shirt they gave out as a token of appreciation. I wonder if they can do it again now that Dogecoin was that popular right now. What a lucky one pal. Maybe in the coming month/s or year to come when this pandemic is over we may see that.

That's also my first impression on the car, the design is really awesome better than any stickers!  Cheesy
This is my first time to hear about IndyCar and looks so interesting just like the Formula one racing, what more interesting here is that, they adopted Bitcoin as an option and the sponsorship can attract many investors. I have to agree that USA is one of the biggest market in cryptomarket, and most of them really knows how bitcoin works, they are advance.

Wow, you are a legend. But I wish you made that for Bitcoin and not to a meme coin. Nevertheless, that was one amazing thing to do in the name of cryptocurrency.

I agree that huge sporting events like this is a big avenue for Bitcoin and other crypto projects to reach millions of audience around the world. Crypto has already been seen in a number of them. I hope to see more of this, and more of Bitcoin rather than shitcoins. It is a little hard for Bitcoin though because it doesn't have a team to arrange for its promotional activities.

This car was very beautiful, and the detail is the choice of the number 21, very good!!!
Interestingly... a team of INDYCAR already uses Bitcoin even as a means of payment to your employees and we still don't have any crypto gamblings for that?
I also believe that this partnership with Ed Carpenter Racing will draw a lot of attention and change that quickly.

[EDIT]
1xbit has bets on Indy and accepts Bitcoin, but I never used it.
What is the reputation of this site?

I think they are still in that phase where they are analysing the market since few months back Bitcoins was the new fad and everyone started accepting it but then apparently there is this big market Manipulation going on right now in terms of Bitcoins and the market where the big personalities are trying to destroy the whole thing down and due to which we are in a phase where Volatility is very often seen and I do think right now they would have paused their decision and are still thinking on that.

Other than that I do believe this is the first of a kind where they would be accepting Bitcoins and therefore they would attract more and more customers there.

Just a matter of time before it starts to get incorporated in the main gambling sites. So people already have a heads up of what's gonna happen soon.

Considering the drop in Bitcoin price would indycar still meet up this expectations because it would even be more cheaper to pay with Bitcoin compared to normal fiat currency which I think will be more favorable for the athletes

I don't understand. How can they make a sponsorship with a decentralized currency? As far as I am aware, Bitcoin isn't a company. So, they've made the deal with who? satoshi nakamoto?  I couldn't catch it in the article neither. Who is paying them exactly for this deal?

The main goal is to integrate crypto in the moto-sports industry. The company will integrate Bitcoin into its payment method.

No partnership or whatever. The owner made it clear in the article that he has a personal interest and immersion in Bitcoin so he applied that into the industry.

With that, he is expecting a boost since everyone is now aware of what bitcoin is.

It is still peculiar to see the bitcoin logo anywhere, but in this case if you want to analyze from the point of view of what Bitcoin is in essence, it even has a rebellious, furious message ...

But anyway, I saw this news here first, some photos can already be seen on twitter:

This takes me back to 2014, when Josh Wise on NASCAR drove a Dogecoin-sponsored car on Talladega. I was one of those who made that happen and boy that was quite an experience. I still have the shirt they gave out as a token of appreciation. Man I'm still hoping that huge sporting events like this take sponsorships from cryptocurrencies and allow it to be used on gambling platforms. It's a win-win situation no matter which side you are on. There's a nice viewership to be had for both sides, too.
You made that happen? That's great! I hope so too that we can gamble on such events in the near future.

There are so many sponsorships that some of our crypto sportsbooks are doing like sportsbetio have done with soccer clubs while stake has partnered with UFC so I am really excited if one of them would bring betting on such events soon.

As on date, you can't bet on Indycar racing using cryptocurrency. There are number of gambling website that accepts bet on indycar racing but all of them are fiat. I didn't see any crypto website as on date.
If that's true it's unfortunate that BTC sponsoring and partnering cannot still get them to crypto-sportsbooks yet. But maybe these things will grab attention from these sportsbooks are will have the betting option for them soon.
