One fact about chia is it will die real fast because the network growth is faster than BTC and other POW coins out there, sooner even those with 1ETB won't get anything anymore, this is incomparable with ETH mining where profits are guaranteed even in four years to this time, chia mining is nonsense

Chia Coin value keeps rising but still I feel hesitant to make a move on plotting and farming because of the insane network growths every day, up to 5-10% growth is way to high and before we know it this plotting thing or idea will come to an end faster, I dare not make decisions on this

Not true You expect me to believe this? There are many images like this on Reddit that have been edited, those with 200TB can't even solve a block and the few lucky ones I see are those that have 30TB to 50TB but you are showing image of GIG HDD size? Stop deceiving |

It's crazy isn't it? My advice is if you have some HDD laying around in your home just start plotting and farming, it won't hurt to try who knows you can become lucky, remember that 1 chia coin is 1500$ and it might worth more in future

Stop deceiving maybe it true you can see at network space only 634PiB it before you can sent chia to exchange no one hype for price yet after exchange trade day1 price around 1500usd network space growth very fast around 20% in first week after that 10%everyday |

Problem is network growth and drive space growth. I plot 50-70 plots a day and the network is growing so fast my days to find a block are not falling that is 7TB a day in drive space I would need to add to stay even. Right now I'm at one block every 19 days and that will not pay for new drive space. I plan on plotting until my drives fill up and see what happens.

I'm with you. Plotting 7TB a day with the expectation of solo mining a block is not sustainable, even if hard drives were available. In reality for most farmers, solo mining was a realistic option for the first month after launch. Once HPOOL came online the net space growth rate was unmanageable in trying to just keep up.
