I never believed in him even once. He's a businessman with a big name in the business industry so I know that his tweets are for his personal motive. He's manipulating the market just to gain the profit that he wants. If we'll all believe in him, he could manipulate even our decisions. We shouldn't rely our destiny in crypto in just one person.

I am very happy with the current situation because this is the only way to make people realize that one shouldn't blindly follow others.
No wonder there was a huge panic sell. Most of those Elon followers would have sold while the believers would have bought the dip.
This time though the market recovered at a good pace. Trusting someone blindly is a big mistake and I am sure many of those people would have lost their money.
HODLing is the only way to survive such crashes.

We are in a decentralized market and yet people have the tendency to follow what someone else is saying about bitcoin as if they were following a religious figure or something, people need to learn how to think by themselves especially since this is a market that encourages that, this is one of the reasons satoshi left, he did not wanted everything that he said to be taken as a law and yet some people are following Musk in precisely that way, I jut hope they have awaken as he is without a doubt partially responsible for what it is happening right now.

Well.. it is a problem. Elon Musk has hardly any knowledge about how cryptocurrency works and yet he has enormous influence on the prices. If Bitcoin moves up or down by 20% every time he tweets, then the institutions will never seriously consider about adopting Bitcoin or integrating it to their platforms. Well that case has always been there for some time now that Bitcoin does not consume as much energy as claimed and I believed that Elon Musk knew this but I guess that was his best approach to Fuding the market so that he can make more gains from His investments in Bitcoin. It's a well known fact that the banking system consumes way more energy than the Bitcoin Core blockchain.
But the banking system has way bigger scale and it's accepted globally.If Bitcoin was as adopted as banking services,the energy consumption of the blockchain might be way bigger than now.The BTC price might reach 500K-1M USD,so mining will be profitable and way more companies will start mining BTC,which will lead to more energy consumption.

I don't really trust Ellon Musk the way he pumps BTC before with his tweets and he can obviously do the opposite thing which will put the majority of BTC holders at disadvantage. He's a businessman after all so we should never trust anyone no matter how influential he is, and always do technical analysis to be a basis of what decision you should make.

Now that we know his actions towards crypto, he deserves nothing but to ignore.
He is purely a FUD, he is joining crypto just to ruin this community. He takes the benefits, creates panic, and then manipulates the news.

As a newbie in the area, Elon Musk tried to experiment how and what is the capacity of reaction of Bitcoin. Now he knows what Bitcoin is! This experimentation didn't bankrupt him but made a significant damage in his popular image when the subject is virtual coins. I hope he has learnt the lesson and from now on his behavior regards Bitcoin should change to assume at least a professional relation with instead of playing like a kid when lifting off his first rocket. I couldn't believe how he could show that as the reason for this action. You are Elon Musk, there is no way that you didn't do a research about Bitcoin mining before investing into Bitcoin and starting to accept Bitcoin payments.
