Watching BTC demise is fascinating, because all the cultists come forward and say 'HODL"

What is important is the best developers have all 'moved-on', BTC is 2009, and now is 2021 there are now +10,000 btc-clones ( shit coins ), and many of them are 100X better than BTC in everyway.

The only dev's that have stayed with the dinosaur are the weak hands, or what we call 2nd & 3rd tier developers, all the 1st tier  dev's are working on crypto 2.0 (chia/horizen), and even crypto 3.0 ( internet coin protocol)

This base of 'defenders' ( bots actually )  is largely sub 50 IQ folks defending BTC, mostly bot's generating text-stuff (hater or hodl'r by sentiment context)  and of course mostly fools so called influencers who are paid penny's of BTC to post feel good bile about BTC.

Better COINS than BTC? Well CHIA, Horizen, come to mind really good teams

Todays BTC is largely like the little boy at the dam, with his fingers trying to plug the leaks, everybody knows the dam (dike) is going to fail, but they frantically keep plugging the holes ( patching the blockchain ), but the bitch is going down. This is a fact.

Today's BTC is a poorly written 12+ year old hack, a trojan horse actually that was 'gifted' by the NSA. Super low quality C++, where it was hand-fed by a few good guys who are now dead ( hal finney ),  and now most of the effort in BTC is low-level people working the marketing scams, of trying to bring new suckers into the con (scam as musk would say)

I will say this, all CRYPTO is a scam, because it attracts scammers like flies to feces; Even CHIA for how much like the team, is just a scam to get the green/woke people into crypto.

[ sorry for my absence the past month, they banned me a month for telling the truth, go figure? ]

They still will not let me post on 'technical' here on 'how to hack bitcoin' something I have been doing now for 8+ years, I like to share, but 'they' would prefer to keep everybody to live like mushrooms as we used to say 'keep them in the dark, and feed them feces'.

I wonder what you are this morning to mentioned all crupto are scams. If it's all scam then why marketcap are growing? And also why so bitter about bitcoin? Did you bought on top to be like this?

Even so you are highly knowledgeable on codes and technical output, you shouldnt use that on doing like what you mentioned:

Been involved in crypto since 2010, been writing cryptography software since the early 1980's

Whats your involvement in this game?

Market cap ain't growing, BTC is down 25% this month, that's a bear market dude.

Talk market-cap, just a month ago BTC was $1.2T USD, now its 750M, that's a 38% percent loss in CAP, I beg to ask, what drugs are you using?? When you say the scam is growing?

Shouldn't be doing what? Programming? Hacking GPU cards? Hacking BTC sha-256 algos?

Let me get this straight, your telling me its illegal to program my own computer to hack bitcoin? WHich uses SHa-256 & Secp256k1, both NSA public algos, known to have backdoors?

Please tell me more about what I can't do? I really want to know.

The NSA released BITCOIN into the wild to see how long it would take puzzle-people like myself to hack their baby, I'm telling you its being hacked now, in time it will be common knowledge, there will be a slow implosion of BTC, so what?

Only retards think that "Crypto is Forever" its not, DES, DSA, PGP, SHA, they all had limited lifestimes, same for SHA-256, & secp256k1, the shelf life is long expired.

This is what I'm talking about "MUSHROOM", your saying DON'T DO THAT, YOU"LL SHOOT YOUR EYE OUT, Don't Do that You will Go blind?

Eventually lazy tier 3 dev's of BTC will bring in SHA-512, and SECp512k1, and give BTC another 10 year shelf-life, well that's what they should have done, but intead they decided to feed the public shit, and keep them into the dark, and milk the bitch to death, and then its game-over the lights go out.

Crypto of itself is not 'scam', scam is human, Crypto has enabled the worlds scammers, like flies flock to feces

Which in turn, made btc become a scammers paradise, where nobody goes to jail an the loser has no redress

Like I said, btc is a scammers paradise.

In the begin, NSA(NakamotoSAtoshi) created bitcoin, and god saw that it was good, then adam&eve bit the apple and discovered they could scam the entire earth with btc, ... That begat +10k shitcoins, which also enabled scammers to descend upon the earth like locust.

rags to riches, back to rags in a generation they say

just remember if you don't sell it, you didnt' get rich

sure lots of criminals, and con-artists have found a new life in bitcoin, now they can honestly say they have 'day job'

This post was more about the lack of BTC team doing anything, other than moving on to new & better coin, what I see is a few bots coming forward with positive sentiment, the question is what the hell are the dev's doing to ensure bitcoin has a future?  Assuming yesterday will repeat itself for tomorrow, is a long and well understood mental problem with day-traders

The problem is like doge-coin, or shib, easy for penny stocks to go up 500%, note so easy for $1T cap btc to go up even 1%; btc has hit a glass ceiling get over it

COVID 19, was a special time where money had no where to go, that's over

People chill out, it's just a dip not the end of the world, BTC will be fine. I'm getting tired of the storm Musk has created and this will turn back on him one day. Until then, chill out, enjoy the ride!

Hey OP, how low do you want the bitcoin prices to go down before you can finally buy, I am sure that you are acting stupid and immature because you didn't adopt bitcoin early so now you want to spread FUD because you are a bitter loser that didn't profit from bitcoin. Also why defend bitcoin, this is a natural thing to happen from time to time, people like you have existed in 2018 so you aren't anything new to the veteran users in this forum.

I am taking profit from this dip in all cryptos as I am mining more per day with my Gpu-s right now.I hope they go even more down and I don't care at all,the only thing I am concerned is to grow my crypto holdings which usually I keep all in Bitcoin, even mined coins I immediately convert to Bitcoin so I will protect it all the way down to zero without a problem as I know it will bounce back to a lot more than it is right now.

Fact sheet

The longer the longevity Bitcoin has, the higher value it has and the probability that it will fall to zero or dead is nearly zero, impossible. Bitcoin has passed through the first challenging ten years from which it will move strongly.

Not necessarily most bubbles like tuplip, missippi, or south-sea all went on 10+ years before final implosion the fact that btc has survived this long means nothing about its future, once its easily hacked, and common knowledge, it can & will drop to zero overnight; Largely mythology keeps the fingers in the dike

South-Sea bubble went down, & up many times before the final wipe-out, study 'grand popular delusions'

Yep GPU mining very good right now, too bad you can't buy them Sad I have my rigs, why would like more RTX's but nada

Now the hard-disk stuff is gone as well, with space-mining you have to burnup an NVME to make plots, with GPU's they get dirty you clean them, they get hot you reduce the wattage, easy-peasy

But now bitmain comes out with an En ETH ASIC miner, and its all gone in the next few months, all our GPUS will be deployed to hack bitcoin.

OP
stop playing as if you are smart.

if you can hack bitcoin you would have raided satoshis's stash by now
there are a couple old coins using old publickeys that have made transactions(satoshi-hal) making them addresses weaker than the rest
that one particular address is full of coins amounting to over $1m(30+coins)

so if you really were a 'hacker' and bitcoin could be hacked. that address should be empty after 10 years of you 'hacking' bitcoin..

.. but oh wait. its still has the cons. and all coins of all known cold store from 2009+ are where they suppose to be

the only 'hack's that have happened are from remote user hacks on wallets.. or idiots that have very simple pneumonic 'brainwallets'

thats not smart hacking or even perceived as clever.
so stop pretending you are some great developer that has broke bitcoin.. you havnt

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.

What happens when a project reach maturity, like with Bitcoin (BTC)?  The protocol can now stand on it's own, because it is working fine and it is stable.. (there is no need to make drastic changes on a project, where Billions of Dollars are being shifted with confidence, because the Core software are working perfectly)  Wink

Now, what happens then.. Well, Bitcoin (BTC) do not need a large team to "develop" any more critical changes and most of the changes are cosmetic and more focused on "maintenance" .... the result, some developers move onto other new projects, where they can be kept busy with new experiments. (A lot of these developers moved onto Sidechains and projects focused on the Lightning Network)

You are cherry picking things to find a reason to kill a live and healthy horse... and Bitcoin (with the Lightning Network) are a racing horse in the prime of it's life.  Grin   (Bitcoin BTC still has the largest active adoption network and it is still the most secure with all that hashing power backing it, so the developers are not that critical anymore)

One or two large Chinese mining farms can shift some of their hashing power to some of these Alt coins (Shitcoins) and they can perform a 51% attack and double spend and ruin that coin.... but you not going to do that with Bitcoin now.  Wink

It seem like you really hate cryptocurrency based on saying that all crypto is a scam if this is a scam then why you are still in this community? maybe you are just bitter because of the big dip of bitcoin, do you buy at the top? then just hold it, you will really lose your money if you will sell it with this current value, the market is still going strong even this decline happened so why you keep telling that this is a scam. Scammers are always there even in fiat currency, they will really try to do some ways to gain money from other people from fooling.

Not trying to cause FUD or anything but logically I have to agree with the OP on this once.

First, stocks, gold, and fiat are all backed by something (stocks are backed by ownership in a company, fiat is backed by the government's promise that it has value, and gold is a commodity that is accepted worldwide.) What are cryptocurrencies backed with? Oh that's right, just digits (0's and 1's.)

Second, Cryptocurrencies are extremely volatile, not to mention the Satoshi Nakamto is still unknown (something is fishy here.)

Finally, I think the best time to invest is when no one knows about it (something good is about to happen.) If every one knows about it then the gain advantage is over. I'll give a simple example, if you know that X company is about to make something that will change the world, and no one still knows the news then investing now would probably give you tremendous returns. However, when every one hears the news then you lose that advantage (early investment.) The same is happening with BTC. If you invested before 2021 (before cryptocurrencies became hot topic) then yes you would've easily made those 10x returns. Now that big institutions joined the train, Crypto became a hot topic, and almost every one knows about it, it would be too late to enter the market and invest in it and I would recommend you invest in something else (where no one else knows too much about what is about to happen.)

I think BTC will collapse 10 years down the road, and the reason why it's price is going up recently is to attract as much as possible before total collapse. I also am curious about what happened to BTC development team.

Just my thought on BTC. You can take my advise or leave it. The choice is your.

Bitcoin has been in the market for 12 years. There have been many scammers in this market, it's true but I can't say that for Bitcoin. If it was a scam, it wouldn't live this long in the first place. I think that Bitcoin won't last forever but it's not because of it's being scam or something like that. A much better coin could take its place in the future.
