Looking at rates in most countries I realize Thailand isn't that bad with $0.13-0.15/KwH. I'm thinking of solar panels but still can't convince myself it's worth doing in a rented house.

Seriously, anyone of you experienced a price decrease in electricity rate ever? Me neither... it's like an unicorn shitting only purple skittles.

Looking at rates in most countries I realize Thailand isn't that bad with $0.13-0.15/KwH. I'm thinking of solar panels but still can't convince myself it's worth doing in a rented house.

As long as the whole system is moveable it could be worth it... be careful of fire risk (even if low).
