While I admire her tenacity and the very fact that another woman has joined the league of the super rich, I wouldn't say that gambling institutions are in any way a productive part of society. Sure, they provide the odd bit of entertainment to people who have the ability to constrain themselves, but most of her money will have come from people left feeling very depressed and unhappy - even if it was their choice to participate.
