Nope I think it would never happen it would always be the alt-coins that would follow the King of crypto not the other way around.
For me Bitcoin would be the top or King of all crypto for a very long time and we might never see that it follow the price of another crypto because it would always be the one to dictate the flow.

Nothing do last forever but we can really tell that Bitcoin would remain on the top spot for a while or wont really be having the chance for altcoins to replace it on its top spot.
Nothing can be assured or known on what would happen in the future but basing on whats currently the position or ranking when it comes to demand then Bitcoin does have it.
Lets  see on future years to come if there would be some chance or wont really be that close because the community would be the ones who would really decide on this one.

Honestly, I'm still confused about the meaning of your question, what do you mean by following? We all know that there is no atcoin that can exceed bitcoin in all aspects. I admit that ethereum is the biggest altcoin right now, but that doesn't mean it can beat bitcoin (even in the future)

honestly i don't understand what you mean about bitcoin following eth? if you mean in terms of price of course what is happening now, the price of ethereum is more dominant following the movement of bitcoin prices in the market and in fact 99% it has been proven so far.

in my opinion btc doesn't follow eth and bitcoin have a value more than eth , for prices i think eth and btc follow the market and stock or economic of the world , like past crisis economic all market of the world crash for this reason crypto and bitcoin ctash too ,eth have a great future too like bitcoin , for example if bitcoin reach 100k , eth can reach 10k or 15k easily when btc was 10k usd per btc eth was 400 usd i think after dome years it can reach same prices of bitcoin,  who know?

I suggest the OP create a poll to answer this simple question, see how many polls vote bitcoin will follow ethereum in the future and include a logical reasoning, the position of the two best coins ethereum will remain the queen of coins unless it is not replaced with another top coin.

That's bitcoin advantage, being the prime mover, everyone depends on it, trading pairs obviously. Although there are times that ETH move by itself, bitcoin is not left behind. And then when bitcoin goes up, everyone goes up as well.

If bitcoin is the king of crypto, Ethereum is the altcoin version. However, I don't think at this point we will see coins that will overtake bitcoin, not ETH and not any in the top ten coins.

I don't think that such thing will happen honestly. I don't say that Bitcoin will never be dethroned in the future. It'll happen eventually but we don't know when. But the coin dethroning Bitcoin won't be Ethereum I suppose. Maybe it'll be a new coin which it doesn't exist even now or another coin existing in the market now.

That is a very rare situation and that does happen in the sense that sometimes there is an altseason which means bitcoin is not doing bad but altcoins are doing great, that really happens sometimes. I personally believe that there will be many more times the prices will be close to each other one way or another but it is not going to be now.

Any time there is an alt season that means second coins and bitcoin always gets close to each other, I remember all the coins like ltc, xrp and even namecoin got very high during the alt seasons of the previous times when they were second in ranking, crypto always had those alt seasons when bitcoin didn't drop but alts went up. This means that ethereum will get close to bitcoin one day, it just won't be any time soon now because the alt season was a few months ago and that was it, we are not going to end up seeing it back to back.

It all depends if he takes the number one spot and he surpass the market cap but before he can do that it should upgrade it's platform, Binance is a big threat to his position and might overtake him in his position right now Binance is the best choice for DeFi developers because of it's cheap transactions.

Ethereum will continue being Bitcoins deputy because  btc has the most liquidity compared to eth! What does this mean, btc  has the ability to move markets far much better than eth which makes it a leader and not a follower, and fyi the two being in different leagues eth would influence most altcoins while btc will influence the entire crypto ecosystem which shows eth doesn't influence btc.
