Status of 2.1.1 release??
In final testing, trying to fix all the beta bugs before release and get it out by EOW, but with the Apollo III launch next week things are getting hectic..
Will 2.1.1 support Bitcoin Knots? I want to run Bitcoin Knots version v29.2.knots20251110+bip110-v0.1rc3

No, ive explained before since our nodes are used mostly for solo mining we are not pushing non tested beta clients to the Apollo. Once the knots crew has a stable bip110 compatible client we will add it.

If you really want to run it our new architecture on 2.1 makes is super easy, just replace the client binary inside /opt/apolloapi/backend/node/bin/knots-29.2/aarch64/ with the bip110 aarch64 knots binary and then select the knots 29.2 in the UI

FYI 2.1.1 is push to main but not released yet (probably tomorrow), if anyone with a solo node wants to test there are a bunch of bug fixes especially for the nav bar (run ./update in /opt/apolloapi/backend)

I just updated my node and running core 29.2 now. Nice! Looks good, beside footer bug where it still say 2.1.0-beta Smiley

### Apollo OS 2.1.1

This is the general OS 2.1 non beta release, with a large number of bug fixes from beta. In addition to bug fixes we have introduced low level changes allowing our Stratum Solo server to accept large amounts of hashpower from rental services like Braiins hashpower. The new start diff option in settings/pools can be changed to allow for this (recommend 500k+ if using large amount of hashrate or 1K+ connected miners). We have tested with up to 500PH and 5k connected miners to Solo Node and Apollo II!

Our largest update to Apollo OS 2 since release! This release features major backend and front end changes, with a much more robust management of Apollo Core services including node functionality, solo pool, and miner services. New features include hashrate graphs to better visualize miner and pool performance, user selection of core clients, easy access to system and services logs, and much more!

v2.1 CHANGELOG

•  Added new hashrate chart feature
•  Major refactoring of backend services and API state engine
•  Added user selectable core clients
•  Added API/UI logs
•  (RE)Added temperature settings
•  Added block found monitor and celebration
•  Various UI/Data fixes
•  Better Mining Drawers
•  Better UI responsiveness
•  Updated JS packages (GraphQL, Redux, React, NextJS)
•  Updated base OS packages and security updates

Hello community, two questions:
1.) Is the 2.1.1 update live for the Solo Node
2.) If update available, any link to simplified instructions for updating the node and then updating to run Knots bip110

I am sort of techy but would appreciate dumbed down instructions I could use with some research. Thank you for any assistance.

Yes some solo nodes had a bug in the beta preventing the top bar from showing (which is where you can update OTA) if thats the case you can either ssh into the device if you are tech savvy or download and reflash the new image to the SD card above.

Instructions for ssh up:

Log in, navigate to /opt/apolloapi/backend

sudo ./update

If you want to run bip110, download the aarch64 bitcoind binary from knots repo and copy it into this directory:

/opt/apolloapi/backend/node/bin/knots-29.2/aarch64/

Restart node.

Will have this client option in the UI in the next point release in a month or so.

By "top bar" do you mean the one that has the tan power button on the right end of the bar?  I have that bar on my solo node GUI, but there's no option to OTA when I click on that button.
