I believe crypto market can be manipulated to increase in value and also decreased in value so why not just ride along with these so called whales? I don't think we can come under the control of those who have trapped the traders in it. The presence of the whales was very helpful so we could make a big profit from the pump they made. That's not going to happen because it's always have been the way the world works. There would always be the ones on top because they deserve it or have been lucky enough to have been in it in the early times.

But for conversational sakes, let say it happens. Everyone will have equal amounts of BTC or USD. It will result in the same thing because people are competitive enough to beat other people, and it will turn people into whales and some into planktons. It will have another impact on the price. So, with or without whales, there's always going to be speculation in the price.

No matter what you do, there's always going to be that power that looms over the market. The best thing to do is risk management.

Recently i observed that news about partnerships or developments or whatever are not having an direct impact at the price anymore like they did have a few years ago. Now big news go almost unnoticed most of the times or only have a minimal effect on the price of the project. Back in the day a coin pumped when it was only mentioned in mainstream media and nowadays no one cares anymore. Where we can still see a reaction of the price is when a listing on a major exchange is announced, but most of the time those price pumps are only temporarily and after a few days the price is almost back to normal again.

If a market has no leader, it will be a chaotic market. Remember that it is the sharks that make up the bull and bear season. We have the opportunity to make money from it so let's know how to use and respect them.

If you are ready to take such risk of investing when the market is red then you are doing the right thing what the whales are doing at that moment but can you afford the further losses which will likely to happen due to the panic among the actual holders.

Millionaires won't care even if their portfolio value on the red because they know that they are going to hold it for year or until they make huge profits.

Whales are actually unnecessary in the cryptocurrency market. The market will thrive with or without them. So if I were to be asked whether I prefer to have them playing with the price or not, I would immediately choose not having them. They could manipulate the market. Without them, the market is a lot less volatile.

I think the market would be more organic without whales. The price of a certain coin would rise if there is good news about it and decrease if there is bad news. Whales change this.

If you can do riding with the whales then you are amazing, i am sure that many people think about doing this they also wanted to ride with the whales to make profit but look at what happen to them they always end up to lossing, riding with the whales is not easy, big whales are unknown and we dont even know on when they make any action to manipulate the market.

If there's no whale to create a wave then it would be the news that would affect the investors on what they would do.

One of the essential ingredients in crypto is the news. If there is a news about crypto, it will be spread widely through different social media and I can say that it will have a huge impact in crypto value either it is a good or bad news. But crypto whales are also important part of the market. They cause a huge dump and pump and if you know how to ride on, you will surely benefit them.

Let's not forget that in 2017/2018 it's possible to control the market with just a good news but today things are different, whales and institutions have a big role playing in crypto space and their value, if they aren't here anymore bitcoin and other coins won't surge as high as they did this year

In the previous years, good news do affect the entire crypto market in a very positive way, but this year's, most especially in this 2021,I do feel that good news no longer affects the market in any way positive, but the irony is that bad news still do affect the market negatively, even at times, good news still causes the market to crash which is quite confusing.
@poster, And as for riding along with whales manipulating the market, it's not that easy man, and permit to say that if you actually think it's that easy to make money in crypto, then you are day dreaming and you should try and wake yourself up, I guess you are not a newbie here so you should understand what I mean, if making money in crypto was all about buying when whales dump the market and selling when they pump the market, then we all will be super rich, crypto will be filled with a lot of happy people cus everyone will be making huge amount of money very easily.

If that so, than there will be a crypto world without any value as everyone will dump it when it'll take correction. Even good news won't have that much effect in that type of situation. So, it's better to have whales and millionaires for better market and we should be prepared for this type of manipulations because it's not the first time. In the previous bull market, many whales and millionaires manipulated this market and this time, institutional investors are joined them. So, next bullish rally will be more effective than previous bullish rally. TBH, let them play around and feel our bags with potential coins/tokens and be a diamond hand hodlers.

Yes good news can affect the market without whales, in bear market many new coins did very well in their IEO sales and the market was in a very bad shape, in 2018 many projects that have very attractive use cases still become successful, it's not always about the whales

can, and all that has happened in the past. but the increase is not like when the whales are pumping. To make the market go up high it takes big investors. like elon musk who played an important role in making bitcoin create new ATH. the good news without the whales wouldn't have had a big impact.

There will always be people who will hold large amount of coins and rich people who will play with the whole market whether we like it or not. It is not just whales that are driving the market, project development and massive use case also pumps the market which is a more organic growth than a pump and dump done by whales.

Maybe, without whale the market gonna runs purely on the market's state of psychology I think and good news could more or less affect the price but such world without whales could never exist, since if there's no whale in the market someone definitely gonna try to be one and reading whales' move isn't an easy thing either. What most you can do is just to buy the dip and sell in the pump but it's like trying to catch a falling knives. everything could go wrong as these whales usually plays by their own rules.
