Honestly wanted to ask and to discovered the newbies among us. i though of creating a vote but it is not Necessary.  i really wanted to ask if there are members of this community that sold off during the last dip thinking that the market has crashed. alot of friends kept complaining that bitcoin and alts will go deep down and it will take months before coming back.

Really wanted to find out people that lost their grip and sold off. what really was your main reason for NOT holding...

There plenty of reasons for not holding. Risk aversion, profit taking, etc.  Not saying we are going to go full bear but what's to say that wasn't the first dip.  Easily can.  Crypto has had its share of bears throughout the last 12 years, it isn't a linear line straight up the chart.

It is not really a shocking reveal that some people sold, price went lower because some people sold and that was always the case in any drop. However if we could realize that selling doesn't mean giving up, we are going to get much better in the future.

Definitely there could be some people who lost money during this period and some of them probably gave up, that is understandable but the reality is that there are tons of people who didn't give up and who still believes in the future of bitcoin and crypto. That is the most important part, if you believe in crypto then it doesn't matter if you sold right now, as long as you can recover and make it back in the future and you are still interested in the space then it is fine, I am fine with a drop, because it means this drop is just a temporary one.

Falling for the current price drop had a big impact on my portfolio but at times like this I don't sell everything, I'm not person who easily believes in FUD, I'm selling only because of some needs
That's the right attitude and good to see people believing despite so much FUD being created around cryptos on social media. Almost everyone is talking about the wastage of energy caused by crypto and it baffles me to see so many guys suddenly talking about it because crypto exists for a decade and more so why suddenly all this talk about wastage of energy when we are actually moving towards PoS in general.

Dealing with crypto the most important attitude and aspect that you must possess is being calm and patient every time that you see a dip because its normal to see a retracement and correction in the market so always keep in mind that don't panic sell when there is dip but instead accumulate more to get more profit once the market pumps and recovers again.
Another thing we must remember is that panic sell does nothing but creates a bigger dip than it was initially. If everyone panics and starts selling the market will break and that's what the rich guys who are planning this bear run want. Have some confidence guys and hold tight, good days are coming soon.
