May be you will add an option to choose old design ?

New one's information density is way lower and especially worse on small notebook screen - only a little portion of trade page is now visible at a time... Sad

+1 on really low information density. Hate. I'll be using https://classic.mtgox.com until you pry my cold dead hands away from the KB.

Fixed width layout? Seriously?

I get a little postage stamp of a pane to see transaction history no matter how wide I make my browser window. Shame on the designer.  Angry

I couldnt rant enough about how bad a decision it is to use a fixed width div for that layout. For some vanity website, fine, go ahead and use Flash too, but for something with actual data in it, deciding that you know best what size I want the view to be is just ignorant.

Please try again.

As it has been said a low resolution version of the website is on the way, so until then please use https://classic.mtgox.com.

It is a real shame that a team of programmers working for SEVERAL MONTHS has only this to show at the end of November.

> Redesign -- how about functionality?!
> BitInstant -- it was there already.
> SEPA -- used to be there anyways
> LR -- you REMOVED this feature.

And this warrants a timer on the front page?
No functionality? Are you serious?

Click on that little orange chart logo on top left, and be wowified by awesome new charting interface. I must say I am impressed!

Just noticed, a quick credit edit

I am not sure why someone would want to advertise using a quote from Wikipedia as the source for anything, when the actual source is better.

This "Part" is aimed to change with time, also, while I agree that BitcoinCharts is a nice choice as well, Wikipedia is here used for its "neutrality" toward Bitcoin.

I suggest putting price on the right and volume on the left of the fancy new graph. I thought USDBTC went up to thousands of dollars...

I also think it is weird that it displays negative volume...is that possible?

The activation key generation for application access is b0rked, as the resulting QR code is stretched and therefore unreadable for the mobile app (tried both Chrome 15/Linux and IE8/Windows). As a workaround I used the "classic" website, there it works.

Thanks, some of us succeed to reproduce this and we are working right now

Oh man that looks ugly!
What's up with the hipster design everywhere nowdays?
Why does everything have to be ironic and "CRAZZZZYY" instead of plain, minimalistic and stylish?  Huh Cry

These few changes don't warrant the stirup (tried to) made. But then, I am somewhat glad it didn't change too drastically, worsening even more on the way.. I stick to "classic" too.

I refuse to identify myself on MtGox to be able to use SEPA transfers. MtGox didn't even give a plausible reason for this. Bitcoin is a payment option with anonymity in mind, after all. With Europe being one of the larger markets, this may prove as a step to strengthen competition. I surely hope so.

I will now switch to http://bitcoin-otc.com/, this kind of exchange is more of a future for Bitcoin than centralized data mining.

I refuse to identify myself on MtGox to be able to use SEPA transfers.

Unfortunately, this is a legal obligation and we have to follow Europeans rules on that regard. FYI, each time you are using SEPA you are sending regardless of what you want/think most of your personal data the recipient of the transfer including your name and address, so basically you are identify yourself.
We Mt.Gox are then legally obliged to match both information sent to us and the one we have in our system. We understand that this overall process may be annoying for some and we would love to make it easier for all, but running an honest and legal business is what ultimately everybody wants and need!

Legality is ultimately a matter of opinion, and the people with the guns (governments) are expressing some really shitty opinions lately.

I don't mind the verified issue, I'm already verified because that allows much higher withdraw limits.

Great job with the new design! And I'm especially happy about the comeback of SEPA deposits. I was getting worried there for a while.

Denarium closing sale discounts now up to 43%! Check out our products from here!

All the data you need at your fingertips is now only a click away!

ironic, considering 'withdrawal' (by bitcoin) now takes 1 extra click than before.

no, i'm firmly in the classic camp... someone else summed up the new interface well when they said it has 'a much lower information density'. the glaring problem with this is the enourmous amount of pixel height given to the header and following <h1>  ...so pretty much every feature requires you to scroll down after every click.

i'm not a fan at all.
