I have got some amount from the last bull. It was a great journey although I had lost huge amount at the end. Now, I'm only holding USDT and planning to utilize the money for buying BTC long term.
Will we ever see BTC below $10k? Actually I'm waiting for BTC to reach $20 so that I can invest my 50% and later on if price fall further, another 50%. But what if it doesn’t go such below? I will miss the potential gain.

I'd like to see the price drop to sub $20k by the end of this year, especially if the hard core investors get spooked that their forecast gains don't materialize and it really is true a car manufacturer quietly dumped their bag over the side of a cliff.

A price range between $10,000 and $20,000 is more realistic for day to day transactions for real world purchases, but yes, sub $10,000 is ok with me.

That's unrealistic unless US create a huge shortage of USD in the market which is impossible. I can't think of any other reason to get down to $1.

You have a good strategy on buying for a possible dip, and it will happen for sure, the bottom will be hit but the real question is when and how much.

I can wait as I said above but I'm sure I'm buying before the next halving as halving will have an affect. Buying before the halving will be good I think.

There is nothing not possible, but the possibility of bitcoin getting to $10000 is veey low, even getting to $20000 is possible but yet low, the $30000 support is strong and it has to break that first. I'm not sure btc can go down again below $20k, in fact I'm more sure btc will return to normal above $40k.
Because if bitcoin can fall below $20k, it is likely that other altcoins will be destroyed and they will have a hard time getting back up.

Really really highly unlikely in my opinion but it's definitely not outside the realm of possibility. If we'd ever reach that price again, I'm guessing it would be a few or a combination of these things:

1. A bear market (which is expected to come some time in the future)
2. A major exchange(Coinbase/Binance/etc) getting hacked
3. A major Bitcoin ban from a powerhouse country(US/Russia/Canada/Australia/etc)
4. Some classic FUD (I mean, they always exist)
5. Heavy regulations

How come you lost huge amount of money, i believe that you are talking about the potential gain you could have attained if you sold the coins at the all time high valuation, if not no one in the right sense will be selling the coins at a loss since you are around the market for a while. There is no point in getting disappointed thinking you missed out on a potential profit as the market could potentially reach those valuations again in the future.

I've actually been waiting for sub-$30k in order to buy some for my own benefit. It seems like that isn't going to happen anytime soon, not unless some big guy drops bombs and the whole market reacts. There is a possibility of this happening considering that the huge investors that we have seen a few months ago buying in bulk are now shifting towards other assets that are currently more profitable than bitcoin. Them selling can easily create a domino effect, ending in a much lower price compared to where we are right now.

You said lost huge amount so you have sold your coins on current price? I'm still HODL my coins, didn't planned to sell it below than $50,000 or it will be worthless only. We were above $50k for more than 1 month, i don't think we must pessimist now and bitcoin won't ever reach $10,000

Never say never when it comes to Bitcoin, but you still need to ask yourself, what are the odds that the price will fall so low? As some others have already written, something very bad should have happened that would shake up the crypto market, but then again you have a problem with how long it would take for the market to recover. I do not think that you will ever manage to get anything below $30k at least. I like to suggest you to buy at current price levels and you may wait for buying around $33k to $32k levels. Don't wait for the $10k buy it now when there is an opportunity, that $10,000 USD is long gone and I really think it will never be reached in this bear market I am seeing that $35,000 and $37,000 or even $30,000 is the actual floor, from that last bull run you should have accumulated some profit then I think that is already good if you have lost an amount due to the dip, just forget about it and move on and wait for another bull run cycle, In my opinion, the last All-time high was $56,000 USD and beyond that is a good selling time, but if you did sell always sell a small portion you may never know how high can bitcoin go in its next bull run.

I do not see 10k happening every again, not just now, not in the future, I do not expect that price to ever happen again, it is really not something that I would be expecting, it is over and it will not happen again. Let's get serious about it, we are talking about just 50% drop and THEN another 60%+ drop on top of that, it would be insane drop that I do not see happening at all.

I understand that we had a good amount of drop and people are expecting a 2018 type of drop, but there is no way that we could end up with anything like that right now, it could be very bad, but it will not be that bad, it will probably be under 30k and that's it, there won't be anything further down. Hell it is not even going under 30k neither, we had the drop and thats it, we are not going down anymore, which is why I think it is not going to be anything like 10k at all.

I highly doubt that prices will ever go back to $10k for a sustained amount of time, although it is possible. As for how the market looks this time, I have to agree that $10k is unlikely to happen. We possibly not seeing it anymore if there is consistency in the market volume. Even we are in the bear market, that does not mean bitcoin will go down to below $20k or even reach $10k as many big companies and people already invest in bitcoin.

There is a possibility.  After the Bull season according to the Bitcoin chart, there is a tendency for the Bitcoin market to crash more than 80%.  So I guess there is a chance to fulfill your wish of buying Bitcoin at $10k apiece.  Though I think you have to wait for some years for that and not anytime soon.

I'm not sure in the near future or this year bitcoin will drop drastically to reach $10k, bitcoin is indeed on the decline but don't speculate too much because it's unlikely to happen and better take this moment to buy some at a cheaper price.

Bitcoin going down is not really dangerous, we went from 20k to nearly 3k in the last run, that means we needed x7 just to break even if you bought at the top price (if you did dca then you would have been doing better), and you know what?

That is actually a good move. Because if you are just waiting to drop it below 20k or so, you may just be waiting in vain. So why not take advantage of the opportunity when the price is near 30k? In the shorter-term view, we can see the price has bouncing between the $32k and $39k price level which seems to be a trend, as price has been maintaining this levels for quite a while. In all seriousness... Did you guys ever check a weekly/monthly Chart of BtcUsd? If so, you would know that a 90% correction is nothing special for Bitcoin. I know, most of the hodlers dont want to hear that, BUT I think the price will drop dramatically. I know... "This time everything is different"... But then again, why should it be? I am holding my BTC so I dont care. but If Price drops below 20k, I will accumulate more. If price decides to go below 10k, I will get as much money as possible from wherever I can get it, and then buy the shit out of BTC. If this does not happen, well, I am still making good money. So whatever happens, I am happy

Time will tell. If it goes 10k for sure that's capitulation for most of retail investors but for hodlers and believers that's a huge discount and opportunity but I doubt if we ever touch that again in short amount of time. We go higher, get that law of attraction comes into play.

Expecting it is a very difficult part, especially if we expect a bigger discount with a 10k claim, we will definitely hold on to it. What if the situation is really bad at 10k, is this still a belief that it will rise again?
If it goes back to the lowest price then it will worsen the situation even I don't imagine how the institution will release its acquisition of bitcoin which is getting weaker when what they expect is to fly high with its stability.

If you really want to trade, then the best confirmed strategy right now is to sell everything asap and then buy back in at around $1,000. You can ride the bounce to around $2,000, then sell again. After that, it would be best to stay away from bitcoin entirely because it will be going to zero.

I have confirmed 100% through multiple Chinese and Russian confirmed sources and using confirmed maths and science that whales will throw btc below $20k; however the reason is because they do not want bitcoin anymore since it has definitely failed. I believe btc has no intrinsic value so it is always a 1 btc = 1 btc for me forever. But that doesn't mean that I'll agree to anything and speculate to levels where nobody can think of selling their btc for. $20k is possible only because there were order blocks and stops which were not hunted and btc went as higher as possible from that point. So that is one of the biggest confirmations for me that $20k is coming (soon). But the bull rally isn't ended yet and even if btc goes below $20k, it will rise again as this is what it has always shown us and given unimaginable surprises.

There's no hype anymore so the price is correcting, the money is already withdrawn because bitcoin is not bullish anymore. That's why we only witness a short but continuous bull run because it's the fresh money invested in the market but eventually they'll just withdraw it if they profit or if they panic because the price dumps. In short, it's not really for long-term investment, hence it will only leave a short-term bullish effect.

I hope not. I mean I do love it when the price goes down but by the looks of it if we keep going down then there are too many doomsday people who think we are crashing. Right now we have way too many newbies in the crypto world and we need them to mature first. Let them be here for another year, and by 2022 if it drops to 10k then I am fine with it, but that would at least make them realize that bitcoin is not something that always goes down or a "ponzi" because too many people are talking about it.

I personally would love to see some sort of middle phase where we do not go up but do not go down and just handle it the way we are right now without any problem at all. I get that it is not that easy right now, but it should be not that difficult neither, we should be able to just handle it as we can without a problem if we can hang tight and not sell too much.
