I'm glad I don't spend some thousands of dollars on chia mining because it's not worth it compare to GPU mining, it seems like PoC algorithm is a total waste of time because none never works but those who quickly join the solo mining are the so lucky now it seems impossible to earn a chia coin
ppl just don't listen to get $100/day, or 1/3 xch, you need 10k plots @ 108gb each, or 1PB of storage, which is 1,000 TB's, @ $30/TB, that's $30k USD of HDD just to make $80/day ( assuming chia @$280, & dropping because chia has no use or value )
I'm sure $30k would buy at least 60 RTX-1060's where you would earn 3000MH ETH, or about $150/day, as long as you keep the gpu's clean cool and dry they last forever, the HDD's die of use with 'chia' the algo's kill everything.
Then the waste of 100 10TB HDD's it's still just generating toxic landfill
