I just got the same PM about this account's @AssistentYoshieAndFriends request. I sent a complaint to the moderators about unsolicited emails.
If I received such a letter and I trust YOSHIE, I can assume that such letters can go to any account with my nickname.
In order not to create a separate topic, I also declare that I do not communicate with anyone in the Telegram messenger, and in general in any other messengers, except for the forum.

Presumably, this Telegram account will probably use blackmailing members here inside the forum IMO.  And it might also this impersonator pretending to be assistant both of you and might also have an account here, they know how active both of you busting scammers and cheaters here in the forum. 

Telegram was a house of scammers, it's really hard to trust if someone will send you a PM first there. 

Thank you for this thread of clarification both of you, as showing support, I also reported that user account, I believed the more user will report, the more chances that account will get “SCAM” sign/badge next to its username, or else they will have a restriction of their account not to send PM first (unsolicited PMs) but they will able to reply, that's fair enough for them.

Looks like one of those butthurt scammers or multi accounting bounty cheats that you and lovesmayfamilis may have exposed and tagged in the past are trying to take up some revenge by impersonating you to destroy your reputation. Little do they know that they are just wasting their time.

Impersonating nothing new in this forum and I believe most users aware of it. But in this case, you have nothing to do, even the person isn't Impersonating you since he is using a very long user's name which is looking spammy from the beginning. Telegram has become full of scammers and we can't control it. We are responsible only for the telegram username which has been using on the forum. Except this, we can't prevent scammers, everyone should be careful and contact via forum before making any deals with the scammers.

By the way, thanks for sharing it with the community, so we are aware of it although I doubt many users visit this reputation section.

I don't see how blackmailing would work in this case, pretty sure anyone getting blackmailed without a serious reason would come to the form in a matter of seconds, and from small newbie accounts you obviously can't get more than a penny at a time, and they will need to get the victim's telegram id and to contact him there over a problem on the forum....

Rather than blackmailing, I would rather see it a quick ay to damage one's reputation, especially with the whole "andfriends" crap in the name or if indeed money is involved maybe a so-called service that helps you get your money back from scams? That would make sense with the "report to" stuff...

Use their reputation to scam. Back in the days, I had received PM from suchmoon (fake lol) who wants me to sell my ETH (can't remember exactly). I instantly asked him to PM from forum account but as expected, he couldn’t. Later, I had created a thread here too.

Actually, this man wasn't trying to scam me, on the contrary, he was reporting me stakes irregularities in the Soku Swap Bounty - Articles Campaign (which I was managing). Unfortunately, he was using plagiarism search tools incorrectly. Even after explaining his mistake to him, he was suggesting to report me on Bitcointalk. I didn't get the impression that he want scam me, but his behavior was a bit strange.

Apart from that we don't know whether you are managing the campaign or not, what is clear is they are wrong because they involved our name in the telegram chat with you, it's clearly wrong, we don't know what they are talking about, want to cheat, beg, threat, accuse, blackmail or anything else that can harm other parties, if I may know what the name of the strange person's account is in this forum, I'm sure it's one of your participants.

My message: for you in the future you are more careful in responding to all responses about your bounty participants on behalf of other people, you can directly send a PM to the person concerned to ensure its authenticity or not.

So, I specifically created this topic to clear up things that are not wanted in the future.

Thanks for the advice @Yoshi - I haven't had anything like this myself, however, just to go on the record, I started a telegram account (no idea password etc) with the user name @Timelord2067 specifically to view the now defunct SexCoin group.

If I ever get back on Telegram (or Discord for that matter) I'll keep an eye out for any other fake profile names.

I don't know his Bitcointalk username and I don't know if he was campaign participant, thats why his behavior was even more strange.
I don't know what his intentions were and actually nothing bad happened, but it is better for others to know that someone is referring to you, so good that you opened that thread.

Can you report it as an impersonation of your online username to the platform, I think that they will probably consider blocking that user to further prevent people outside the forum from being scammed and you might want to add some text in your profile that you don't have any assistant or that you can't be contacted outside the forum without confirmation like a signed message.
