What would be a 'good' amount to stake?

People staking with 1 million EMC has reported to get 1 stake on average within 2 day. That's what I have seen in the discord channel. However, only having a lot of coins don't necessarily mean you will get a lot of stakes. You need to have splited them perfectly, coins age must be older, you need to have the best strategy to get the best output. When I used to get 2 blocks a day, someone with same or even low amount of coins have reported that he used to get 4 blocks a day. So, there are some factors you need to examine, experiment and after that, you will know what's the best strategy work for you.
If you want a good amount of EMC to start staking, I would recommend 5 million which would cost you around 0.10 BTC or $3500 maximum as people who got the early airdrop are dumping now.

You can connect the EMC Wallet via Tor, by enabling the proxy option. Settings > Options > wallets. Check the proxy option, then input your Tor port. Though, I can't see the Tor icon on the top of the wallet being enabled/activated, but I can verify that my connection are going through Tor.

To import a private key, go to setting and console. Type- importprivkey<space>yourkey & press enter. And to get private key,
dumpprivkey<space>youraddress
This wallet more or less works with the same command as of bitcoin core because the main source of the wallet is bitcoin core.

Actually, the explanation I mentioned above, it should be sufficient enough to make the wallet run on a Tor connection(the outgoing connection will be made behind Tor). About the port, it depends on how you run the Tor connection.

The following directions assume you have a Tor proxy running on port 9050. Many distributions default to having a SOCKS proxy listening on port 9050, but others may not. In particular, the Tor Browser Bundle defaults to listening on port 9150. See Tor Project FAQ:TBBSocksPort for how to properly configure Tor.

Regarding the icon I checked the code^[1][2] I think probably the icon only be enabled if you already established it as an EMC node using Tor.

I suggest you refer to the doc, then made a configuration depending on how you want to use the Tor within EMC.

Dex-trade will list EMC today. That's what lightlord shared in discord. Regarding other exchange listing, there's no confirmation yet. There was a poll in the telegram only. And website is supposed to be launched soon, no confirmation yet though.

I generated a new address, this means I can still receive even my old address doesn't appear on my wallet. I think EMC uses HD wallet either.

I stakes something like 10 coins on my own wallet, and then maybe 20 or 30 more on POScoin site (forgot the actual name but you could just stake on their pools and earn a share of it).

If I'm correct, there's one staking pool for ElonCoin but that requires the fund to be sent to Custodial wallet which is a big risk. I'm not sure how delegation aka cold staking works, haven’t found too many information on it.

Thanks for the clarification! I got the first airdrop already (1250 coins) and I'll be monitoring to see how useful this becomes. I know it's all for fun but I purposely stepped away from this staking game and especially the memecoin game, but I guess it's okay to experiment every now and then (since I have nothing else to do!). Sorry I should have made it clear. It doesn't work on mine. Slack and Discord web just won't load properly on my browser, it's a work computer and quite a lot of restrictions plus I have to connect from a company VPN.

Anyway, no problem. I know how to keep in touch. Just saying this forum is also a good place for those who don't use all those other things to block out the noise:)
