Its been so many years since I learned of bitcoin talk.I was amaze of this kind of currency.satoshi is so bright and smart person.even though we never know him personally and where he is.the bitcoin that he made is so so amazing.thats why until now I am thinking the great things happen in our life to have bitcoin.and now bitcoin was known all over the world.and they using bitcoin already as fiat.thats why I do believe that bitcoin will never be gone anymore.bitcoin will be part of our life forever.
How about you? Do we have the same idea of bitcoin?

The first time, I heard and use Bitcoin, I already know this invention is extremely unique and new. It is a digital currency that really solves the current problem we have now on traditional finance. So by that, I am positive with Bitcoin that it will stay here forever. Bitcoin got problems to solve so why it will be gone?

Nothing in this world is permanent, and that's going to include Bitcoin. I'm sure it's going to take more than a dozen lifetimes for something so great to be invented that could potentially replace Bitcoin though.

Speculating the events in the future is always vague. Sure that the decentralization is something that we never expected after the growth of the internet, however it does not guarantee that it will never be gone. There are still a lot of factors that we need to consider to say that it will survive.

It could be in terms of mass adoption. As long as the majority of people believe that bitcoin has a real use case and value, I don't think that bitcoin will die instantly. It could also be the continuous technical development to scale bitcoin on an efficient way etc..

The real question here is, what is something that would harm bitcoin in the process and how will it be able to cope with those uncertainties?

in as much as currencies of every nation increases in value as well as that of other coins like Bitcoin does, then there will also be a point in time other coins that can also overtake Bitcoin will still come up, so nothing is permanent.

I'm pretty sure that at some point of history Bitcoin will stop to exist. Either practically, meaning it will be preserved as a collectible/historical item, or literally no computer in the world will run Bitcoin software and mine new blocks. But this will not happen anytime soon, probably not in our lifetime. Maybe it will happen in a few centuries, maybe even thousands of years. Just like Bitcoin changed the way money is organized, something radically new might come up.

There could be some more advanced technologies that can stop it but we haven't seen it yet and that's why it's still here to stay. And no matter what people say about bitcoin negatively.

Yes it's true. Bitcoin and overall Cryptocurrencies market have to stay. The amount of money that has been pumped into the market it's really enormous. Also the utility it has provided to the society, also the utility that altcoins have provided it has really become a in separable part of our society. Also it has become am inseparable part of lives of bitcoiners so it is obviously going to stay forever.

basically as long as there are still many coins that support this coin, it will always be strong even though many of these bitcoins will still rise again and again.

Bitcoin has built its foundation firmly over the years and regardless of the doubts and the criticisms it recieved, it was able to survive and become successful up until now. There is a very low probability that bitcoin will cease to exist considering all of its achievements and assurance it gave to people. If bitcoin successfully helps El Salvador with their economy, it will surely make a huge impact on crypto that will start the revolution of the new monetary system in the world. Cherish bitcoin as much as you can, even though it is much more likely to survive till the future, you should make the most of it right now while the price is still low.

Bitcoin will definitely stay for a long time. Although, i can't assure if it will stay forever.
Bitcoin keep gaining popularity Everyday, majority are getting involve in Bitcoin and getting to know how it operates. I don't think it will just vanish, it will basically stay for some time.

There are banks that are bitcoin friendly, as the following blog article reviews.
If we observe how our P2P activities are, we can realize that banks are silently creating liquidity in bitcoin because we have adopted it before our own governments.

The adoption will not be quick, it will take time, at least we have an example such as the country of the Republic of El Salvador. I have taken a look at the account of President Nayib Bukele, he and the account of the Presidential house of El Salvador is teaching people what the bitcoin law is. We are all waiting for the success of bitcoin in this country.

Well, the same as here. Imagine, as of now there are some countries legalizing bitcoin and using it, does it mean people will continue using this as an alternative currency. Bitcoin will not be gone forever, the same as fiat bitcoin will do the same. If the payment system will be gone, perhaps there is a chance Bitcoin will be gone too. In fact, bitcoin as of now is very useful when ait comes to a paperless transaction and avoid from possible person to person contact to each other.

Technically, the last bitcoin should be mine in 2140, so we won't see it in our lifetime. So we will never know if bitcoin will continue to exists by that time or just simply some 'token' that we can collect. So I guess the best thing to do is really take advantage of it. The OP says great things happen in his/her life and so as the others. So just continue what we are doing, continue to accumulate BTC, set our goals and hope that the price will continue to exists in the next 10-20 years.

You are too early claiming 'people use Bitcoin as fiats'.
I think not each people in the world already know well Bitcoin and can use it as fiats. It should take more time to equalize the Bitcoin use with fiats.

About the possibility of Bitcoin surviving forever, I think we all know nothing lasts forever. But I am sure that Bitcoin still has much time to survive in the future. As long as the adoption continues, it is good news about the existence of Bitcoin. The perfect example is what El Salvador did with Bitcoin. It surely makes Bitcoin can have a big chance to survive a long time.

if dozens of rich are buying bitcoin to make Hodl and have big profits in a few years then Is because they have already seen the great potential of bitcoins, unfortunately there is still the big problem of high rates that if it is not solved it will not be possible to see bitcoin being used as currency, making hodl and serving only as something to trade on exchanges is a very limited use that over the years can make bitcoin not used much around the world.
