I am not into tokens are unknown altcoin when we are trading under heavy bull market. So I suggest noone to follow hype towards even good altcoins this season. We need to see end of bear market as we know to play with smaller altcoins.

I think there is no better altcoin than eth, i also prefer some top altcoin that you can see in CMC, there are a lot of top altcoins there that you can choose. I also didn't invet in new projects there are a lot of scams and i feel unsafe you can follow CMC or coingecko for the top rank  altcoin and do investing base on your own pick don't be dependent on other suggestion choose it by your own because at the end of the day you will be the one to get loss or get profit by your invesgment.

Top 10 in crypto world changes though, it is not always the same. I am not sure if BNB was in top 10 before this year, but it was always a "good" one and that's it, this year it became third biggest coin thanks to help from BSC becoming a huge deal. At the same time we used to have BCH and BSV in top ten and now we do not have those things, we used to have dogecoin way way way down the ranking list and it peaked as much as fourth biggest coin at one point and still in top 10.

I understand that top 10 gives people comfort but always pick the smart things in that top 10, make it top 20 if you want to make sure, and do not invest into coins that looks a bit shady and people talk bad about, nobody can argue that btc, eth, bnb would be bad, those are good, rest of the order has to be checked by you and after your detailed research you can find the real good ones that will not go down quickly.

Try exploring other investors portfolio to identify which altcoins can be more useful. There are plenty of altcoins that has potential and are just waiting to be discovered and be patronized. If you really want to make progress with your investments, be hardworking and make sure to find any ways possible as long as it is legal and you do not violate any community laws. If you really want to earn money, make yourself knowledgeable about crypto and start making sure that you know the market well so that when there are adjustments, you'll know how to cope up always.

Ok, as you said not always same coins in top 10. better to say to use and consider top 20 coins. I tough - it is safest to consider and invest in coins which proved value cos survived bloody seasons and periods, stay stable and recover fast. Research is most important and first step, without hurry and calm need to be to decide smart, I agree.

However, personally I still think that there are just some top platforms and things that people always want to hold in this market, so it shouldn't be too difficult to judge everything for yourself.

Actually their are thousands of coin for now. Some coins had good potential and some don't have. You need to find, which is potential one and impotential one.So that, you can save money. Many new traders lose money by investing in the less potential one.Everyone should get deep investigation and then investing in coin.

I have to say I wasn't fan of Dot for a long time but now checking it I have to say they are looking not so bad.
