Anyone know of a genuinely free transaction accelerator?

Most of the time you relies on luck, except for a few 'accelerators' owned by miners or mining pool as mentioned above. I've seen a few successful cases of ViaBTC accelerated transactions, but it is not clear whether the success happens because we input our tx or it's inevitable that a new block is found.

A couple of the links already mentioned by others in this thread are on the list, some of the accelerators will accept TX's at the top of the hour, while others will just collect your TX along with all others and rebroadcast - ideal if the nodes around you aren't following through, or worse yet drop your TX after as little as six hours.

Are you able to post your RAW TX, or, the TX number for your transaction?

It's also easier right now, they show a number how many transactions left they can push within the hour.

Hmm, there is something wrong with that number, I thought it was fishy since it was:06 minutes and still showed 95 free transactions, the next block is min 69sat/vb so I wondered why nobody is using it. I grabbed one transaction from the mempool, checked to see if it fits the requirements (parents/fees), and of course, I got a submission beyond number error. I checked with a different browser, on my phone same thing.

I wonder why they don't simply disable submissions when they hit the 100 limit...

Look up in which block your transaction was confirmed and who mined it, if it wasn't Viabtc is pretty clear, if it was them it's still the possibility they would have accepted it even without the accelerator so check the fees/b descending.If yours is in the lowest 100 and there is a big discrepancy in fees somewhere above then it was 99% accelerted.

You'll probably find that it's something along the lines of they are waiting the other 59 minutes for users who come along with higher transaction fees that they can slot in ahead of the one or two satoshi fees being offered by people trying to use their free service.

I've tested that theory ^{[by accident]} a few days back when they first started displaying the "remaining free TXs" and it didn't work...

I tried to speed up one transaction I chose from mempool purely to check if these cosmetic changes have any effect, and these numbers don't seem to mean anything - I was able to get the info "Accelerating the transaction" so now it remains to be seen if the procedure will result with successful confirmation.
