I am not sure what you mean by "excuse my past behavior"? I have stayed out of drama for years, even when others were trying to bait me into drama. It has been even longer since I offered any kind of escrow services, and I hardly ever trade here anymore.

I think it's pretty clear.  Certainly you must remember stating that you were just following the lead of more senior members, and deflecting by pointing out they weren't treated as harshly as you.  Sounds like excuses to me, and as I've said it makes your apology seem insincere.

If you're accused of something, what exactly are your options?  You can admit to it, you can deny it, you can remain silent, or you can do what you're doing, which is to try to use misdirection to get everyone's attention focused on another issue other than PrimeNumber7 being your alt account.  In this particular case, why wouldn't you just deny it if it in fact is not your alt account?  Perhaps it's because you want there to be some doubt in people's minds; perhaps it's because you don't want to be a flat-out liar since it's pretty obvious it's your account. 

Either way, I'd expect at least you, Quickseller, or PrimeNumber7 to deny the connection when presented with the evidence.  It is very strange indeed that there was no response of confirmation or denial by either account in that or this thread.  And by the way, this isn't about me or how I judge people.  Either confirm or deny that PrimeNumber7 is your alt account or stop evading the question and stay silent.

I hope you are never in this situation, however if you were ever charged with manufacturing illegal drugs in your basement, you will not be obligated to take the stand to testify if you did what you were charged with doing. You can make statements (often through your lawyer) that poke holes in the evidence presented against you, and present alternate theories to explain the evidence. When you plead 'not guilty' to a crime, you are saying that the government (the accuser) must prove their accusations per the standard as required by the constitution, you are not saying that you are innocent.

In the above example, I very specifically did not say if you were actually a Pharmacist of illegal drugs in your basement.

There are also often times in which there is outsized pressure to make statements on an issue when you do not wish to make a confirmation or denial.

Well that is why I did it. Those people were doing similar things out in the open, and no one batted an eye. There was no movie about similar behavior, there were real people who did it, and no one cared. It was no secret that other people were doing similar things. People seemed to be more upset that I lied about what I did, more than what I actually did, and I have not made excuses for that. This is why I don't like responding to these types of accusations, and generally will not do so. Based on your posts, I don't think anything I say will change your mind on the matter, so asking me to confirm something like this is asking me to submit to you, considering it is clear you will reject any denial that I might make.  

Neither the QS account, nor the PN7 account is accused of any kind of wrongdoing, so I don't see any need to respond to any kind of theories.

I think that you're confusing this forum with the outside world. You shouldn't compare these two, because then, your arguments could be used conversely too.

I personally think that you're, indeed, the same person with alt accounts, because of the coincidences, but I won't stand on this; it's really none of my business and I haven't noticed you doing anything unethical like cheating on a campaign. You probably made this due to your tons of negative feedback from Quickseller.

What I do want to stand is that this forum isn't a court. We aren't condemning you to a crime and you need no lawyers to defend your position. We're a community and if someone finds out that two accounts are related, while they deny it, he or she can announce their “evidence”.  Face it.

To stay on-topic, I'll congratulate PrimeNumber7, because now he has two Legendaries!

I should have clarified last time that I don't actually believe those are the secrets of ranking up.

I'm just pointing out that by the time the PN7 account was created, QS already had years worth of forum experience and a handle on the way things worked. Every claim PN7 made about "being a newbie" (or less than a Legendary for that matter) is false -- trying to congratulate oneself for victories achieved with an undisclosed leg up on the competition seems dishonest to me.

But that's just me.

I will admit his posts are better than the average shitposter. He's still not an exemplary model to follow for actual newbies.

Today while reading responses to threads I had posted in, I noticed one of my posts, I read the post, looked at my forum handle and title, and saw that I have officially been promoted to a Legendary member.

As a result of the above, I am proud to announce that I am officially a forum-made Legendary Member.

I created my account on March 12, 2019, to talk about bitcoin, crypto, and conservative ideology in a drama-free manner (yes, I know that bitcointalk is famous for its drama, and some even say that bitcointalk's drama causes the price of bitcoin to go up).

In the two years since I created PrimeNumber7, I have always tried to help fellow forum members (within reason) by lending my expertise, or giving general advice when I am not an expert, offering technical services to those requiring technical work that requires more planning or time than one might expect is required to write a few forum posts, created a number of open-source projects for community use, engaged in passioned debate with fellow forum members, worked to reduce the amount of spam, dangerous and illegal content on the forum, provided my perspective on various topics of interest to me, and did what I can in order to make the forum an enjoyable place for forum members to spend a few hours every week posting and chatting with each other.

It is an honor to finally be able to call myself a Legendary Member.

I don’t recall any of that...........

While others can still prance around to this day taking feuds wayyyy too far, including all of the above mentioned, and be completely instantly forgiven, even sided with.. Because they are on the “right” side..

Due diligence is not hate. No one can prevent you or anyone else from believing lying sockpuppeting sociopaths, or adding them to your trust list, or whatever. But thanks to nutildah exposing Quicksy's alt, you can do it as an informed decision - much better than acting on emotions like hate or justifying those decisions with straw man arguments.
