LOLs , I actually learnt his a total newbie to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, Infact, he contacted me for help on how to purchase his first bitcoin some few days back.

When I learnt he's an absolute newbie in this space and now a member of this forum, I was the one that advised him to remain in the local board for the main time, while he get himself fully acquainted with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies so he could be able to contribute meaningfully to the topics outside the local board...

No need to appeal, I can't "blacklist" users again after whitelisting them. All he has to do is not get banned

I've neglected this for a while, so announcing that I'm now making this a part of my schedule, and should be reviewing these much more frequently. So, if I haven't got back to you in the past; send us an email again.

I was going to go through a lot of the requests that I haven't read since I wasn't actively checking this email since it's a throwaway, but checking a few it seems that LoyceV or one of the other users have already whitelisted most of the substantial requests.

I don't have any criteria, it's based on how the conversation goes, basically. I'll then make note to keep an eye on the account from a period of time after the whitelist has been made.

There is no other way: if you'd post criteria, spammers would abuse it. I already get very similar requests in burst sometimes.
So far, "my score" is 1.3% banned, 7000+ earned Merit and 1 or 2 "Discoveries of the year". I'm not disappointed.

I've yet to whitelist anyone, although I looked at whitelisting a few, but they were already whitelisted, so I assumed you got to them first. Most of my conversations fizzle out, although I don't like getting back to users straight away. I won't be checking every day, I'll be doing it once or a couple times a week. I've only had about 100-150 requests since this thread was opened.

Unfortunately, out of most of those I've only been interested in whitelisting probably around five of them, which were already whitelisted as I said by the time I considered them.

I quickly gave up on that, and now barely ask follow-up questions. They have one chance to convince me they deserve to be whitelisted.
Still, more than a quarter of them forgets their username. Those are the quickest to dismiss.
