Hey newcomer's if you have a IMGUR then you can upload an Image

Many newcomers posted a Thread.  How to post an Image?
Now I suggest download The Imgur apps it will help you to upload an images here in bitcointalk forum.

Hope this thread can help some newcomers
to upload their image using Imgur.

Step1. If you have already an Imgur app then you can open it.



Step2 When you opened the Imgur app just click the camera sign


Step3/Step4 choose what image you want to Post then after that click the next button.


Step5.  As you can see there is an hidden/public you can choose What you want if you are going to hide your post or Public it after you choose1 then you can click the uploadthen click VIEW


Step6 click the photos you've upload

Step7 long press the image then copy the  1st copy url


Step8 Paste it in the center of the two [img]paste here[/img

Thanks for your output though, you just add another post/thread for such question to appear in google.

Technically, newbies can't upload or show their images posted here even following your steps, image link uploaded from imgur or imgbb is enough not unless they purchased copper membership.

yeah, I know that, and I agree with you that some newbies are just alt accounts. my post wasn't against your post it is just a reminder for new members that would click on this thread if they are searching for it. as you can see I even added links to other guides in case they wanted to resize their image or make it clickable.

Please avoid creating a duplicate post. I know you made this post with good intentions and I appreciate it as well since you are helping newbies. But if you had used the forum search button then you wouldn't create this post, because a lot of related threads would be discovered during the search. I am pointing out this because when you again intent to create a few generic posts then must use the search button. It will prevent may spam from the forum.

I actually laughed when i saw this comment. a mean, OP really felt he or she was getting somewhere about then the first comment you get is spottibg out errors. Well, i suppose using the word beginners would have grouped those for whom the information is meant and more usefull. Anyway, I've got to give it to the OP to have actually come up with the idea of using pictorial representation to demonstrate the whole process. It's actually cool and very little conplications can arise from using pictures in teaching a thing. Mind you, even without downloading the app from playstore or which ever store you get your imgur app, you can also upload pictures with imgur using their website www.Imgur.com on the internet, get the link, use the photo icon and input the link. Upon posting, your photo would be displayed equally. Same procedure above applies except, your not using an app.

Like what I previously mentioned to other similar topics such as this one, I highly recommend using postimages.org in posting photos as it offers resizing options already. Although you can manually adjust it here on the forum, the convenience that it brings is unparalleled.

I think it is better if you actually encourage OP instead of laughing him off. We were all newbies at some point and we all made mistakes that truly defined our characters. But then again, OP you should have checked and utilized the search tool bar to prevent creating spams.

My bad! Though, I'm not trying to mock OP or anything just that, I wasn't hoping on such for a first response you know, it could be very discouraging as, it deals on the places where your not being observant. Fir sure, OP did good and practically coming up with his or her own pictures you know, making screenshot of the process as I suppose he or she did and using them correcting on a thread means goes to prove a lot and with his or her attitude to think towards helping others.
We've all been there and it's important to see corrections as being corrections and nothing more. It doesn't matter how its been presented but the most important thing is that, the correction should be noted and taken.

I don't think this thread is a spam since this thread well created especially giving the effort to take screenshots. We should have explain to OP why this thread is now considered as spam is because there is a thread about this one so op will understand why rather than saying right away to use search tool bar to avoid creating spams. You said it yourself that it is better to encourage op but you didn't explain why this is considered as spam. Well it's kind of funny when someone got corrected and the one who give corrections are also given corrections.

Well, actually you don't need an imgur account nor apps in order to upload an image there. I quite often take advantage of imgur service to upload my screenshot to the forum, I have an account there as well but rarely use it since I've more convenience use them without login to my account.

Correct but when you use mobile phone opening that link will redirect to imgur and there is an error "Oops! We couldn't find that page" unless you make the browser to request desktop site by opening the settings of your browser then you can finally upload an image. On desktop, this problem/issue won't happen and it is on mobile phones only.

I open your page but sad to say it is directly to my account so I think that you need to sign up first before you can use  that link. If I am a newbie then I probably install the app Rather than I'll use browser to post my image.

Refer to my post above. Both ways works fine. Using browser to upload images on imgur using that link must make the browser request to desktop site first by going to the browser settings or three dots that can be found on the right side of the browser. Firefox and chrome also have this feature where you can open links that will open in desktop mode even if you are using your mobile phone's browser.

Imgur.com is not the only one for image uploading. You can see more websites there:Bilder im Bitcointalk verwenden.

Imgur.com looks like the best one to use on the forum.

My bad! I am not aware that it is only available on the desktop version. Been tried to check out the upload page with mobile version by myself and encountered the same error message as you. Seems mobile users couldn't upload images without login first through that page unless they use the method which you mentioned earlier.
