My wallet (Tokenpokect) has some USDT-BSC (chain), and I want to send it to USDT-HECO (chain). My current approach is to send USDT-BSC (chain) to a centralized exchange (for example, Biance), and then sent from Biance to the address of my wallet HECO (chain).

I heard that there is software for cross chain transfer. Have you used it before?

Is there a more convenient way?

I never heard that before and in my opinion if the software must be built in the wallet to make sure you can exchange your USDT safely. You need to send it into the centralized exchange site maybe you are looking the fastest way to exchange your USDT but believe me there's no software like this. It's better if you are using the convenience way to exchange your USDT.
The best way to exchange your USDT to the another coin that was supported by exchange site that will let you to exchange this coin to the USDT HECO.

This is my 2 cent. If you didn't wanna be affected by volatility and try the common way

Thanks for your advice. ;DIt seems that I can only follow the current method, at least this insurance.

Upon searching I only see this bridge for cross chain I saw BSC is supported but no USDT asset for BSC yet its only available from USDT eth to Heco so if you really want to pursue this you need the bsc bridge created by Binance then convert your USDT bsc to USDT eth first, take note of fees you need to spend depends on the network.

The only exchange that accepts USDT heco chain is Huobi and unfortunately they don't support the BSC network to withdraw USDT (it's hard to list competitors' products Grin ).

It seems because heco chain isn't that popular yet (tbh I just heard about it). I only found multichain.xyz which supports both chains and even then it doesn't provide usdt bsc to heco swap pairs. But, I found this article,

@OP, can't you do it in your tokenpocket wallet?

I tried it on bsc and e t h, but the final operation was unsuccessful. It feels a bit complicated. DOT can solve this problem, isn’t it?

You will lose your funds for nothing.

Why not transfer USDT BSC to binance, then withdraw USDT(TRC20) due to it's lower fees from Binance and deposit it to Huobi. From huobi, you can then withdraw USDT HECO to your HECO chain wallet

Most of these applications have a beautiful interface for conversion, but what happens is that APIs is communicating with each other to complete the conversion. That is, they are using central platforms at some point..
Fees are lower for small transactions but you should trust them.

There is no reason for you to use a central currency on an unpopular chain. I advise you to stop using it and try to use USDT TRC because it is supported by almost all platforms and the fees are low.

What you're looking for is probably a bridge/swap tool. Lots of projects already have this so you can check it out from their website. Just to name a few: LTO, BNB, SHR, etc.

As an alternative, you can also use instant swap service, but it is not recommended since you have no control over when the funds will be delivered, and there is no guarantee on the rates, plus you need to pay some fees.

Instead of using a swap tool you could just exchange the altcoin on this forum or on a P2P exchange the end result is the same but there is more risk in P2P exchanges than a legitimate swap tool but exchanges like Binance are the most safest and most convenient.

@OP, can't you do it in your tokenpocket wallet?

Oh man, you reminded me that I have to learn more about the wallet. As a result, I found what I wanted, and there is a swap function in the wallet, which can be converted to the public chain you want.
Thanks a lot

Never  Never Never do flash swaps of cross chain in TokenPoket wallet, which is very slow and very slow.I made a cross-chain swap between TRX and BNB last night, and it only arrived at noon today.

The only way probably is the huobi exchange. I used safepal before and its one of the best cross chain platform that can easily teade different coins and blockchains. But Im not sure whether they already supporting the hecochain.

Try evodefi, heard they already supported hecochain. Only few or none yet are into hecochain except those dedictaed platform for them.

I too have only used exchanges to move funds in this manner.  I think before too much longer there will be a better way.  I've heard that Shapeshift is doing interesting things with atomic swaps and moving to (or maybe already has) decentralized their platform.  I imagine one day it will be extremely simple to do this sort of thing in your own wallet with an atomic swap, but we aren't there yet.

BSC has a cross bridge for Ethereum which is useful. Polygon also has a cross bridge for ethereum so it's easy to go between these 3 chains.

I'm disappointed that huobi hasn't done anything similar, not sure if Orbit is good or safe, but the safest option appears to be depositing to the huobi exchange wallet, and then withdrawing the asset via the HECO chain. Hopefully they will copy BSC and make at least an ethereum bridge
