Europe - pragmatism or morality In December, Europe hosted two significant events directly related to Russia, two citizens of which were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize to Dmitry Muratov in Oslo and the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought in Strasbourg to Alexei Navalny. Previously, in the USSR, laureates of such humanitarian prizes were equated with its enemies, this attitude towards them has not changed in modern Russia either. One laureate Navalny, for exposing the ruling criminal group in corruption, its organizer Putin, disgraced the whole world with his unsuccessful attempt to poison him with a “newcomer” and fearing to repeat the murder, threw him into prison, so the award was presented to his daughter. Another laureate Muratov, who was very cautious before the award, Putin missed. Well, after the Nobel speech, in which Muratov left no stone unturned from Putin's Russia, killing is no longer handy. However, who knows, after all, nothing stopped the vengeful St. Petersburg bandit from reprising the accuser of the criminal regime, who shot the opposition leader Nemtsov right outside the walls of the Kremlin. You have to be a hero in order to tell a citizen of Russia to the whole world what Putin's Russia and its people are, who do not need freedom of speech. Now Putin has a problem - how can Muratov and his newspaper be labeled as a "foreign agent", or even use them as a "newcomer" in shorts.
There is a bloody trail behind the activities of the Kremlin liar as president, from the blowing up of houses in Moscow and Volgodonsk to the attempted murder of Navalny. (1) The West is very condescending to all of Putin's criminal pranks, for example, Biden, calling Putin a murderer, does not hesitate to give him his hand at a meeting, from which every self-respecting person has pulled back. Such an act of the American president does not in any way correspond to the accepted norms of morality. It should be emphasized here that both Muratov's Nobel speech and the speech of Daria Navalnaya, who accepted the prize instead of her father, who was in Putin's dungeons, contained a reproach towards Western politicians who adhere to pragmatism in relations with Russia, neglecting the moral component. How not to remind these politicians of the words of Andrei Sakharov:
"Ultimately, the moral choice turns out to be the most pragmatic."
Despite the unique European tolerance for Russia's aggressive actions, which can be classified as terrorist, the German court was the first to violate the inaction by sentencing Russian citizen Vadim Krasikov (aka Sokolov), who killed Chechen Zelimkhan Khangoshvili in the center of Berlin, to life. Moreover, the court found that the murder was ordered by the Russian state, which in fact is a condemnation of Putin as the sole ruler of Russia. At the same time, it is a lesson for that part of the Russian people who are delighted with Putin's boorish tricks that violate world law and order. Maybe, following the principled position of the German justice system, others will be drawn, too, who have been dragging on the investigation of Russia's crimes for years. The place of the terrorist Putin in the dock at the international tribunal, which is difficult to do, but the political and economic isolation of Russia can lead to paralysis of power and a merciless popular revolt, followed by the final collapse of the empire of Evil and Lies.
