It is Tuesday again, two weeks later and here are some updates from the dev side. We have been working a lot with Komodo team on the bitgo implemetation for nspv. We are still in progress on the Token wallet GUI and implementation.

Also, we are going to start looking for 1-2 developers to join our team to get more things done.

Sprint 07
✅ Updated website with info on Finished IDO
✅  Locked funds design
✅  Transactions are pulled from the chain instead of explorer.
✅  Bitgo updated with many transactions parsing. Readme updates. Response returns all info one need about transactions
✅  ticker name changed to TKL
✅  Added link to all transactions at the end of Recent activity (will probably be overwritten by acnebs' change, showing all transactions in Recent Activity)

Development update

- 👨 We have met with our new developer. He is going to start working with us from the beginning of next sprint (25th October). We are extremely excited to have him and will give you more info on him in the next update.
- @acnebs is joining us fulltime starting this week 🥳
- Our development team is steadily growing and I am proud to say that we have totally amazing engineers working with us.
- 🧠  nSPV protocol updates necessary for the new release to work have been successfully reviewed and merged into TKLTEST for the community and us to test

MANDATORY FULL NODE UPDATE

We kindly ask that everybody that is running a Tokel full node (including Notary Nodes), please update their nodes with the latest code. These updates are not hard forking changes, but they are required for nSPV to provide the information for our token wallet (and subsequent dapp features) to work correctly. Along with some nSPV changes, we have also enabled nodes to identify time-locked transactions, created customized tokeld and tokel-cli commands for people to use, and changed what were previously 'cc addresses' to 'cc index keys', meaning they will have a 'C' prefixing them instead of what was an 'R' and could be confused with a users coin address. A full list of updates can be found in the github and summarised below.

- added 'requestId' field into nSPV protocol v5 messages to provide multiple endpoints in the nSPV client app
- better error handling in nSPV protocol v5
- bitgo-kmd javascript library updated for nSPV protocol v5
- Build of customised tokeld, tokel-cli binaries (Tokel chain params are passed in configure)
- nspv maxrecords param added to listunspent, listtransactions
- missing cs_main locks fixed in nspv
- nspv rate limiter allows N req/sec
- new gettransactionsmany nspv method
- new C-prefix added for cc index keys (former 'cc addresses')
- added support for CLTV transactions to the daemon wallet and nSPV protocol

All-In-One decentralized Application Update

The development team at Tokel is super excited to announce the alpha release of the token wallet.

This release took longer than we anticipated mainly due to major backend changes while integrating bitgo-komodo-cc-lib, which is developed by dimxy in collaboration with the Tokel Platform.

This release allows you to:
1) Hold tokens in your wallet and
2) Send tokens between wallets

Please download the latest version here: https://github.com/TokelPlatform/tokel_dapp/releases

In case you experience any issues with transactions, always make sure you double check what happened using the explorer https://explorer.tokel.io/. You can search by transaction id, address or token id.

The application is an Alpha version and you should expect to see minor bugs. Please report all of your findings here in the discord, or create a github issue. You can check https://github.com/tokelPlatform/tokel_app/issues to see if the issue you came across has been already reported. If not, feel free to create a new issue and ping us.

We are planning for quick iterations with bug fixes and other updates soon after this release.

Tokel Development Update

Hello everyone!

We are following up on our promises with more frequent dev releases.
This is an update to the token wallet which should solve a few login issues for everyone. 🙂

⭐  New Features:
- IPFS fetching through ipfs-js
- The Key/Seed phrase input field was changed into a private field

🐛 Bug fixes:
- Some users could not login in the app due to .value of undefined from bitgo
- The dApp showed the token royalty even if no royalty was set
- Fixed supply tokens that were not showing images
- Fixed issue on the bitgo side for logging in with Mining Wallets
- Fixed some parsing issues on bitgo which prevented login for some wallets
- Fixed copy-to-clipboard copying the abbreviated pubkey for Token creators

Please download the updated version in order to be able to see your tokens and receive tokens from the Tokel or Treat campaign.
