On the contrary, I'm betting less as compare to the usual betting that I did on NBA, Tennis, Soccer and any other sports. Maybe I still hasn't caught the Olympic fever, Lol, or maybe there is really a lot of sports to bet with and you are overwhelm that you don't know what and where to bet to. But now, let's say for basketball, we are entering the quarter finals and semis, so at least I will only have a few games to select to do single or parlay betting.

No, I bet strictly on campaigns league, that has been my best chances to win bets, also I prefer to bet during weekends on leagues like EPL, Bundesliga, Seria A, Ligue one and other normal matches, but Champions League has been my best, I hardly lose while betting on champions league matches. Stick to what you can attempt to analyze. Betting on a sport because it's new or you aren't fully familiar with it will make you go beyond your budget. I stick to what I know gamble with it because it a fun activity for me anything outside this is like getting my self chocked with excess projects. I think that country bias plays a big role in this as well - people are more likely to be emotionally attached enough to their country rather than an independent team that they root for on a casual basis, and there are just so many events that makes it easy to place a lot of parlay bets in a short period of time without having to wait weeks for your betslip to confirm.

I think the Olympics is not attracting much attention from people but I am not sure about that because maybe in one or two countries, the world event such as Olympics can give them the entertainment to see how better their player in many sports. Betting on some sports that I'm familiar with. And with this thread, I check my bets, and I'm on a 6 or 7 game losing streak (I haven't notice it though), I just bet and then check it the next day.

I'm just enjoying it at this point. I still have that bit of nationality within me so I'd say that I'd just cheer for my fellow countrymen (even if I know the odds are against them) and enjoy the show, not to say that those who bet on it don't have any nationality though no offense. On the contrary, I don't know what to bet on the Olympics tournament in Japan, There are too many types of competitions in the Olympics, so I'm a little confused about which bet to start, besides Olympics is not the same as most other sports such as the UEFA Cup, FIFA and the World Cup.

Instead of having to take risks and have to bet on the Olympics, I'd rather wait for the world cup in Qatar, maybe that's better for me.

I have to admit that I had to spread my betting budget due to the number of different sports I'm interested in. The hardest thing for me is when to place more and which sport. I don't bet online in any of these matches. I only see the sports if i like and some of my country's athletes when they compete. The last time I saw the badminton and weightlifting branches, all of which were Indonesian athletes. Maybe if I place a bet for Badminton women's doubles on an online betting site I will win a lot but I don't bet. I only bet cigarettes with my friends, they bet on win or lose rules, this is all I do for fun and friendship.

Personally I would! Because sports like Football or Cricket betting is available throughout the year but uncommon sports like Table Tennis, Badminton, Rowing, swimming, long jump, high jump etc. Are available mostly during the Olympics. The choice of sports is literally unlimited during Olympics. Also such aports usually get mass attention during Olympics and almost all media houses around the world covers them. So an avid sports gambler would never let this situation go out the hand! It's literally raining opportunities for a sports gambler.

For me it depends on the promotion, I still remember the last olympics few years ago i've placed bets like crazy as I wanted to participate in their raffle contest and the only requirement was to place a bet in every single olympic sport. I barely completed the requirement since I found their promo mid way through the olympics and it was worth doing as my ticket got picked in the last draw and the reward was 0.5 btc in fiat value it was somewhere around a few hundred dollars. There is a lot more choice for betting out there, but it doesn't look like the bookmakers are offering any specials like they do with the major soccer tournaments. It's a bit strange really because there was loads of promos going on throughout the Euros but the ones for the Olympics have been really poor. It's fun to make some parlay bets because the bookmakers actually have less data to go on and are more likely to make mistakes than the regular games that they dominate with their huge banks of statistics. I'd say my betting habits are slightly lower than normal because there is less sports coverage elsewhere with it all focused on the games.

in fact, there is no way that anyone has many chances to place bets on any of these Olympic games, if you notice you will see that these Olympic games are very different from past games because this one is being held in a pandemic context, many athletes were stopped for a long time without compete which made them not able to perform well in these Olympic games. placing bets on these Olympic games is very risky.

Honestly, as long as this year's Olympics started I haven't made any bets at all...

Olympics have a habit of making surprises so it's difficult to predict who will come out as the winner. we also have a minimum track record of players so that it is very difficult for me as a bettor to bet, in this Olympics, I fast for betting.

We should also be careful in placing bet in the game whom we don't know well. Because we don't know the team's capable on that game and that probably lead us to lose our money in placing a bet. For me, it is a great opportunity to bet more during this Olympics but only those games that I know well and the team behind the game. Nevertheless, since we don't know the player, this is very risky to place a bet but possible here is both bettors don't know the skills of each player so there is no taking advantage it is pure luck.

Amateur sports are less consistent than professional level sports IMO. There is also less media coverage and less information available. These conditions could align to make amateur level sports like the olympics less profitable than the major leagues from a gambling perspective. The 4 year span between olympic events also makes things hard. To be aware of current events, a person would really have to keep up with sports on an amateur level to bet accurately.

On the flip side the reduced focus on amateur sports could mean bookies invest less time and effort into setting odds or matches that are dangerous to bet. Corruption and cheating with illicit substances definitely do exist on an amateur level. As has been documented.

Nah, i would better save up my money for next season of NBA for me to make bets rather than on betting on Olympics.There are lots of games you can choose from

Not actually because there are only limited games on the sports that I follow. I still bet more on a certain league and the teams that I know than in Olympics, but since it's a special sports event and I believe games are not fixed, so I bet bigger than my usual bet.

If our countries representative is playing for a medal, then I will give my 100% support by betting on them, I don't care if I'm biased but I always believe they'll win even how underdog they are.
