Tomorrow we will see the london hard fork for ETH which will open many doors in ETH if I'm correct. I had a little read on the hard fork as it doesn’t matter much for me. Don't know if it will matter in the future or not.
What I'm confused is why the name is "London Hard Fork"? I really have no idea, haven’t seen any info on this anywhere or possibly I have missed. Can someone explain this to me? Why this name?

There were several changes in Ethereum because of this hard fork, but as it doesn't concern you, I will not talk about this.
In terms of its name, it is not an official one (which is Ethereum Improvement Protocol 1559), but community usually names hard forks after the name of cities which have hosted its developer's conference. So this time it was in London
