But to save it off, I am still using my BTC to send out money to my distant friend outside of my country. Without the authorities involved, I am able to send it without getting involved into too much trouble like having expenses with my transportation plus the fee that I would potentially pay for due to the service done and I know we have mining fees but that does not even matter to me.

Yes I invested in bitcoin for profits. Why would any smart investpr invest in anything that isn't lucrative? It's insane! In the crypto market, I have witnessed coins with no use cases spike in price than coins with use cases. A small portion of the population care about the technology of a project

How did you start investing in cryptocurrency？

If we talk of investment, we talk of ROI. I'm not sure if we could discuss about investment and not bring profit into the discussion. So if one invests in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, ROI should be a consideration.

I agree with Lucius that if we are not to lie and pretend too much, the bottom line would probably be profit more than any other. After I encountered Bitcoin, I learned more about it, albeit not much of the technical side of it, and I grew enamored of its kinda rebellious philosophy or radical nature. I remember how the term decentralization became a sort of a battle cry which I admired so much.

However, I wouldn't have been excited to buy and even tried to earn more of it through trading had I not also discovered that its potential appreciation in price is very huge.

I would have already stopped accumulating, buying the dip, stacking Sats, and so on years ago if I were only looking at Bitcoin's philosophy. So right now, quite frankly, the greed in me is primarily influenced by the fact that Bitcoin would become more precious someday.

How did you start investing in cryptocurrency？

I started investing in cryptocurrency after I started reading and learning about it several years ago.

It peaked my interest a lot because I liked the idea that you could be in complete control of your funds, and that nobody could take it away from you as long as you acted smartly and made sure to secure your funds.
Another reason I started investing in it is because I thought that cryptocurrency has lots of uses now, and also in the future. (As now, many stores and other places accept bitcoin and other cryptocurrency's, and it is used in decentralized applications. & in the future, it is likely to be accepted in more and more places and used in different ways.)

It's the fact that some people say we are not in control of our future. So we can do something that can change our lives.
Bitcoin is such a unique concept. So I found it interesting, and of course as a curious engineer, I started to look deeper and deeper into it.

At first, I heard of it from a friend who majors in finance, but I didn't take it seriously. Later on, I saw the word "Bitcoin" frequently from my test paper, magazine and even one lecture mentioned that and the orator was bullish on cryptocurrency. I got inspired!
I bought an assortment of coins from Binance and other platforms. though till now, I earned just a little, I enjoy it and I just adopt a moderate proportion of my money on it.
Technical analysis doesn't work in many occasions, for me, investing in cryptocurrency is like opening mystery boxes!

Yes, I forgot the banks and how good it is to get around those greedy bastards when it comes to sending money - not to mention how the treatment of ordinary clients has deteriorated in recent years - account management fees are rising, and under the pretext of some KYC rules every year I have to go to the bank and declare that I do not finance terrorism or any illegal activities.

The sense of financial freedom that Bitcoin provides is sometimes the best motivation, and even when the market sinks 50% overnight I don't feel like a loser - because smart people know that despite normal oscillations, Bitcoin always goes forward.

Wow.. Thou as for me, it wasn't an easy road. A came know about crypto and made my first investment after a friend of mine told me about Forsage 3by3 referrer matrix program back then in 2018/2019 after making some good profit out of it. And I become so interested in it. Because back then all you needed to join the forsage was only 0.5 Ethereum, which was equivalent to $5 as of then.

About 3 years ago, a boy introduced by a relative chased me and said in a chat that he was buying bitcoins. Obviously, he was speculating when he bought bitcoins. By the time of Halloween, he may have lost money, about 300,000 yuan. When he told me, he was in a very bad mood. He said that he would never buy Bitcoin again.


     Later, I still didn’t accept this boy’s pursuit. When I told him that we were inappropriate and would be good friends in the future, he said that if you need help in the future, you can call him. I said you teach me how to buy BTC, he looked surprised,  he taught me how to operate it,Since then,


    He taught me how to operate. Since then, he has never returned to this circle, but I have become a believer of Bitcoin.
