Please tell me if I should still expect I will be profitable or just give up now already.

If you are HODLing these coins then I think you need to give up now. It is not HODL's fault really. It is the fault of these coins. If you were HODLing coins such as BTC or ETH, HODL must have proven to be a nice strategy. Atlant is an outright scam, Edgeless is about to die, Centra is illegal, and so on. Humaniq, Matchpool, Lunyr, and SONM were once famous projects that looked very promising at the start but only to end up slow and weak.

Unfortunately, non of these coins now had really recovered and pump, maybe only NPXS had pump earlier this year due to token swap, but after that, everything goes back to normal and it's again struggling at the moment. SONM has also reduce it's supply, you might want to check that as you might miss the chance to swap your old token to the new one, hence will result to a loss of value.

A good property is not necessarily a good price to buy, a bad property is not necessarily a bad price to not buy. So be aware of cheap and expensive to trade accordingly. Only really long hold when there are signs of Uptrend because then you have bought crypto at a good price and they are about to increase in price. You will save time for your investment to grow for sure.

on the other hand we can buy crypto with whatever money we have. different from property which at least costs a lot to buy it, especially if we buy it in a strategic place, but the property risk is smaller. if we have knowledge in cryptocurrencies, and the money we have is not enough to buy property, crypto will indeed grow our money faster

There is nothing stupid about holding crypto, of course this is a strategy and hope to get big profits in the future, the fact is that now many people are getting big profits because of hold crypto, in fact I regret selling ETH and XRP when prices were cheap 2 years ago , if I hold then I can buy 2 units of Audi A6.
