I am curious for what could be the reasons why Solana pumped hard a few days ago?

If you take a look, in just 14 days, Solana is up 100+%,  7 days is 77% as of now.

I own a small amount of Solana and already tried this network. But yeah, I am curious what could be the reasons for these pumps?

I think it is quite obvious that Solana got the pump because they were seen as "these guys are doing something" in a world where all other coins look like they are not really doing something. Don't get me wrong there are others that are doing "something" but not something new or brave or bold, they are doing things that everyone else does, and Solana out there trying to carve themselves a huge piece of the NFT pie and that is a big deal, why? Because, right now it is dominated by ETH market and that is very expensive because of the gas fee.

What does that tell us? When solana took over and did something major to include them, that means that you get to pay very little, nearly nothing, to do what you do at ETH with $40 gas fee and approval, which is why people moved to Solana and that caused the increase, it is still not at ETH level, not even near there, but it is at least getting more attention now.

Solana reached an all-time high of 82USD, but due to the movements of BTC it has been falling a bit, it is a normal pullback, however it is likely that now the bulls of Sol want to see more action, I do not think they will drop the price much:

the bulls will again try to resume the uptrend. If they drive the price above $82, the SOL/USDT pair could rally to $100.

For now the price of Solana is sustained by investors who decided to enter the coin on time, so much so that it caused a historical maximum, some say it can reach $ 100, although it seems very optimistic to me it is quite likely that it will happen.

After I created this thread, I just checked everything again in Solana since the last time I was active in Solana Ecosystem was 3-5 months ago which there are still very few projects.

But if you take a look now, Defi on Solana is performing. There are a lot of new now, yield farmings, liquidity pools, and bridging to other networks. I believe this is could be one of the reasons too.

Solana is comparatively a new coin but it made headlines last week when pumped so hard. The only convincing reason of such huge pump could be , some big investors have launched their project on Solana network that is why it pumped so hard if it was not  done deliberately by some whales to book short term gains as the gains have been sustained so it was a genuine pump. Solana, the native token of Solana, a public blockchain that is backed by Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of crypto exchange FTX, logged a record high price Monday of $69, according to data from FTX and TradingView.

now i felt bitter , had been holding my solana for 2 years and had sold all of them last month because of desperation and no good movement for long.

though lucky still because i converted all the funds to Ripple in which climbed good also this whole week.

but still i felt guilty as not containing solana for another weeks before this pump happen.

I think not just you who feel guilty but other people who have Solana in the past and sold their Solana too early regret their decision. If they can hold it until now, they will make a lot of money but it already happens and nothing they can do. You are lucky to convert your funds to Ripple so you can hope that Ripple will follow the other coins increases and make a new ATH. But that is just a prediction which we do not know for sure and only hope that one or more coins that we have will rise.

because this coin sleeps long than i expected so what should i do when the market is pumping ?  but at least I am not a total failure because the coin i choose tor e invest brings me enough profit though too low than what will solana gives me .

With the way improvements are made to coins these days, I am not shocked that many more are getting bigger and bigger. Obviously it is going to take some time before we could actually see them impact our world in a way that it creates an insane hype, but I do believe that we are doing not that bad for now neither. So long story short, we actually have some sort of accumulation phase with all these developments.

I mean yeah solana got up in the price but that is just a hype on what is going on, it will grow, there is a difference between a pump and a growth and I believe that what we had was a pump just like the title says but the reality is that we are going to have a growth, which will be more sustainable and it will definitely impact our profits as well. It is going to be so sweet that I can't believe how much money we will make when that growth starts.

Solana move very faster and now they have many kind of coin support with solana network although only with raydium exchange and looks not popular in cryptocurrency, but they have launch own exchange and give good reputation for solana coin keep going up, when launching new solana coin network and more increase up than ICO price give more effect solana coin will be the same like BNB, just wait moment when Solana coin have price like BNB coin.

SOL will be a very good project in the near future. It can take BNB's price very soon cause they own a blockchain system and they trying to realize lots of updates for that reason I will invest in the SOL project again. we expecting good something from SOL tem.

How could you say that it could take the BNB on price .We all know BNB has a great and established platform on crypto and SOL is a very new project on this platform  .Its getting more hype without having something special on it .I am just watching that they have some gaming feature and they are establishing their on blockchain and the project as well .So that it is an ordinary work that crypto project wants to do .Still its overpriced to me .

Well, Solana has not done badly at all, although its last support was at the levels of 58usd now the price is at 73.34USD, the bulls are in a great job of much recognition, the technical indicators give the following:

A breakout and close above $82 may start the next leg of the up-move. On the other hand, if the price turns down from $82, the SOL/USDT pair could remain range-bound for a few days.

Everyone is now waiting to see until what price can come, the bulls have not found much offer at the levels of 70-73usd it is likely that it can reach at least 80usd if BTC is one in a bullish trend.

SOL will be a very good project in the near future. It can take BNB's price very soon cause they own a blockchain system and they trying to realize lots of updates for that reason I will invest in the SOL project again. we expecting good something from SOL tem.

The new project makes it possible to reach the top coin prices even YFI coins are able to exceed bitcoin prices but will not be able to replace the top positions of coins and can only compete on price. Solana is a very potential project but I haven't thought about investing in this project yet because the current price is too high.

It's not too high compared to $DOGE that sit on #7, $XRP on #5 on and $ADA on #3 spot on coinmarketcap. All these 3 project has a shit usability and just hyped compared to $SOL that has a lot of potential to beat all the leading blockchain available in the market. Solana is backed by tons of VC and under the FTX guidance for development. This project is still undervalue until its market cap was closed ADA and BNB.

Except price of solana going up I like that network because not any problem for sending or receiving coin, you make transaction with Solana coin network most faster than all network from BSC, ERC20, TRC and Waves network. I think really amazing if Solana adopted as legal currency transaction because they can make efficient all your transaction.

I finally got some sol coins to hold long term, the way I see the movement of sol, it can hit $100 in no time, even though I seem late to the party it is better than when sol become trading at bnb current price,  I believe it is very possible to see sol that high in the near future, as long as the network keeps developing and expanding sol price will be unstoppable.

actually it is not the way i express my opinion because i have just sold mine recently and this is how i felt the bitterness .
 i have still something to do, and that is  to keep holding my Bitcoin in which the currency i exchange for my solana and i jave a big trust in this one so maybe i'll get my prize sooner.
and talking about prizes , bitcoin again crossed 49k today meaning i have something good coming

Solona is very profitable, but honestly, I would not ride at this state now as I know soon there will be a price correction. I just feel it's overvalued at the moment and I'm thinking of buying it when the price dump to more than half of the current price. I believe Solona has a great future but because of hype, this coin has become overvalued, I could be wrong but this is my honest opinion.
