People could just use XMR or ZEC if they are concerned about privacy.

The utility of these coins are going to be too narrow for there to be any substantial value from its utility imho. And they likely will be tokens based on existing blockchains.

There are a lot of adult tokens or coins in the past but none of them ever become successful in building a community that will really make the industry use. But there is one that is used in pornhub which is The Verge (XVG). It was announced in 2018, the price pumped a bit and then slowly went down. There are many exchanges adding it but team doesn't seem to have updates anymore.

Not worth investing in this kind of project since people are more interested in BTC.

Many will name Monero as it is really nice in its niche of privacy coins. And I also know a good alternative - Crypton. After the recent listing, it's rate added +50% and it's a great index, I guess. Not many coins can show anything similar. And I'm sure it will continue improving. Especially as it has own decentralized no KYC exchange https://crp.is/

I heard a lot of adult coins in the past but I've never seen at least one coin which are successful, so I like to make a conclusions that they are not a good investment. Even the news on the popular coins in the market where they are accepted in a popular pornsites does not make a hype, so it's not really a game changer.

That's right. I've also had some experience with tokens themed around adult content, none of which last long, just a temporary pump then disappears. and I think projects about adult content will not be a new trend in the future.

I came across multiple adult entertainment projects but none of them were successful and none of them added anything new to it, just adult content on a website with a subscription and some of them added NFts which doesn't make sense at all, the Verge pumped because it was one the first of its kind in crypto but then people realized it's not going anywhere.

I have the same experienced, buying some adult-themed coins but nothing ended with satisfying results. The developers were just active in the early stage of the projects, they became rarely communicating with the community after the public sale was over. And totally disappeared in the next several weeks.

I think projects about adult content will not be a new trend in the future.

In my opinion, the trend of this coin was over already. Last year, we still saw many adult-themed projects. While in the current year, most projects are gaming or meme themes.

All attempts to make coins related to the porn industry (because I understand you mean that by adult term) have unfortunately failed. I think the porn industry is too big and serious to want to test new ideas. I think such a huge industry needs something that has already been tried and established. I think the adult industry will simply adopt Bitcoin, or possibly the Ethereum or Binance networks.
