It may have happened by chance and was not automatically deleted after post A was deleted.

A reply to a deleted post is not automatically deleted, but moderators delete those posts as well because there is no reason for those to stay if the user replied to a post that was later deleted. It makes sense, if you think about it.

I have never considered what happens in the following scenario though:

A thread has 5 posts by 5 different users. I make a post and quote 3 of those replies, for example. After a while, one of the posts I quoted and replied to gets deleted, but the others aren't. Would my post also get deleted for having a quote of the deleted post even though it also contains quotes of posts that weren't deleted?

Recently I feel my post is not good, so I need a lot more knowledge, or my post offends or insults someone.
Many of the posts were deleted by the person responsible for it (the moderator), but what I find surprising is that I don't know which posts were deleted so I can correct myself for the better?
Some time ago every post that was deleted I got a message and knew what I should fix.

If you did not receive any Inbox then maybe the topic was deleted by the Moderator. But if your only individual post was deleted then You should received Warning which post actually deleted.

This is also possible to track them by using telegram bot developed by TryNinja

You can also get notification for merit and mentioned.

Actually I've never come across a case like the scenario you describe. But, IMO your post will probably remain and will not be deleted even if one of the post you quoted has been removed on the grounds that your answers to the other two quotes are quite helpful and make sense. I don't really know what mod will do when they come across such a case. But yes, the excerpt for the deleted post should also be removed by the mod as it is no longer relevant.

Maybe the moderators would make an exception in that case since the post contains additional quotes. One other possibility is that they could maybe edit the post and only remove the quote of the deleted post while leaving the others alone. Somehow I doubt they have the time to go into such trivial matters.

you are a hero member but you don't read what has been said unless this topic has a lot of replies.
