Hard to not hold deadcoins in your hand nowadays. It was hand back then, a few years ago since most altcoins need a client, a standalone chain so you have to download both of them to get your coin. But now anyone with token address will have deadcoins in their wallet. Literally the internet's garbage.

If you've been collecting altcoins in the past and that's very likely that you own some dead coins today.
I own some and didn't have any intention to sell it. I might just hold it and wait for some unexpected thing to happen and wish it to see some gains from it.

They can't be from purchases because projects that are already trading on exchanges hardly died compared to bounty projects, many altcoins have died in the past even they list on big exchanges but what I am trying to say is bounty projects are mostly crappy projects, they are running the bounty campaign for free promotion, be careful which project you want to promote.

Yes, it is and I have dead coins. Once upon a time, I invested in one project at the time of ICO boom, which seemed promising. No, it wasn't like that at all. and besides there is always a chance of them being pumped , remember that there are some manipulation happening since then and there might be reason for shitcoins to be created.

I hold dead coin and not because I hope if one day the price of coin can increase very high and make me get a lot of profit, but I can't sell it (no volume and no exchange), so I made it as a collection, because if I throw it away, it makes me spend money to pay fees, so it's more well I just hold it in the wallet.

Based on my experience since 2017 as an airdrop and bounty hunter, I have accumulated a number of dead coins. I remember coming across a project that offered to manage these tokens, where people could send them their dead coins and in exchange, they would receive the project's own tokens with the hope of increasing their value. However, this solution was not practical since it required sending the tokens to the project, which could be risky, and it also incurred gas fees.

True, people sometimes get too much copium and think they still can get their money back if the coin is dead. It's kinda sad actually.

For you guys yes but maybe there are some who gets easily annoyed with it. They think these coins are only waste of space in their wallet, just like storing useless files in our devices. They must be deleted or we better create a new wallet only to store the most valuable coins. If the coin is not showing any signs of life for more than a year then I think it's safe to declare it as a dead coin.

I don't hope anymore that they will recover and pump but I heavily regret on why I did not sold these coins the moment they are pumping. Another reason why I did not acted quick is that ETH fees last time are through the roof and I don't have enough ETH on my wallet to make a transaction.

Back in the ICO period, I had a lot of such tokens, but I didn’t buy them, I got them from bounty. Unfortunately, I didn't convert many of them into bitcoins, so they became nothing but worthless garbage. Nothing can be done about it, they will definitely not increase in price and will not cost anything. i have a lot of dead coins i got from airdrop and i do nothing and keep them in my wallet. dead coins are usually caused because the team fails to gain the trust of the community and the team does not innovate so that the project is abandoned by investors. if the team doesn't innovate it creates boredom among investors and the project doesn't progress causing investors to switch to other projects.
