Since 6990s blow half the hot air inside the case
I have figured out that using an antec 300 (40$)

Having the bottom fan push in and the top pull out does very cool very well if you make a wall beteen the two going to the gpu.

oh and drilling a big hole in the bottom of any case and having the front pull out work with almost any cases.

PSU and boards are now really a problem, Corsair/SeaSonic 600/650w is suggested, the EA650 Green is best for cost (~40-50$)

Popular choices for mining rig cpu's are AMD sempron and Intel Celeron processors, there tend to be more expandable motherboards avilable for the sempron however if you're only worried about a single 6990 build either a 775 system or a 1155 system using a intel celeron you'll save a few watts doing that

If you found that funny or something i said useful i always appreciate spare change

You have a single 700$ gpu and want to go cheap on everything else ?

My miners have cheap cpu and cheap everything because nobody would use a 5 gpu wood rack as a desktop PC.
