As the adoption of Bitcoin is getting wider by the day, I and my teammate live in a small community in El Salvador where Bitcoin is now a legal tender.

We don’t have a physical bank 🏦  or ATM as young programmers. We have designed a Fintech software that will link our bank account to our wallet using lightning. network, all debits are from our bank account and deposit to our Bitcoin wallet. We are in a test stage ready to be launched this coming week.

Our services are:

1: POS service Bitcoin to USD,

you scan our barcodes, get our wallet make your

deposit we give you the US dollars equivalent in cash.

2: helping you set up your government-approved wallet

and receive your $30 BTC airdrop

We charge no fees, for now, just community support towards Bitcoin adoption in our country.
Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

This is a nice initiative, the acceptance of Bitcoin would likely stimulate more FINtech projects as well as SMEs. It's grrate you are using the lightening network to cut fees on transactions and charging no extra;

My questions are;
• How do you plan to handle liquidity? Would you have a limit on the amount you can withdraw for customers at this point and grow later or you'll be exchanging the bitcoins or fiat given at the point and transfer the other to the person.
• Whats your goal for your startup in the future?

This is an exciting development. I wish my country can adopt Bitcoin that will give so much advantage to the youths and even the elderly ones. Keep advancing and hoping to read more exciting development and advancement in your business.

I thought that process was automated and Salvadorans would get it as soon as they've completed the KYC process in Chivo wallet.
- Am I missing something or you meant to say unlocking the airdropped amount for withdrawal [I've read a few reports that mentioned you have to make a few Chivo to Chivo transactions first]?

I add $100,000 liquidity to my account every 24 hours for now
Aren't you worried that your account might get flagged [it's a significant amount]?

If you're manually helping people to claim $30, these amounts of money make no sense considering you "live in a small community in" a poor country.

Any chance you can sign a message from an address holding - say - just one Bitcoin to add credibility to your story?

First, do you have a license for this operation, and what is your business address in case someone wants to visit to confirm your story, this is a good development that will attract people's attention on this forum so your story will be more credible if you can verify some facts for us?

I don't think the dev really need a license to operate such business at the moment as the el Salvador government is looking for ways to make bitcoin transactions more easy and affordable to it citizens. But as time goes on the need to register the company and pay tax will arise since it service is within a centralized system.

Ops is this thread still active if yes you may have to update this thread with the latest developments as regards your activities I can see you are inactive on the forum if you are too busy to update the thread you can as well lock the thread.

I am sure he can be busy improving and developing more the payment system he is sharing it here with us...that is assuming that he is real, genuine and not just another fake guy pretending to be a programmer or something. Anyway, I find the system he is sharing here to be generally attractive and in a country that has already declared Bitcoin to be legal tender, am sure this project can have a good future. But they might need to develop some strong backing from a big financial group in order to make the technology be adopted by more people.

I kept saying that bitcoin is like a moving jet, because it has turned to a global currency which every country knows about bitcoin currently, saying how you wish your country will adopt the uses of cryptocurrency especially bitcoin in particular, i just want to tell you, it's a gradual process every country will adopt the use of it, just giving only more five (5) years interval, bitcoin will be using for buying of biscuits to the local ground.

Yeah, I noticed that too.

I hope this isn't just some newbie merit-farming by using the El Salvador story. If this can be verified, it'd be an honor to have some of those salvadorian kids here.

OP did sign a message here but that address has no balances so hard to know if he is actually doing the kind of thing he said he does, i.e. providing 100K USD worth of liquidity per day.

Well, Hopefully prestongold is going to continue to be here and will have enough authentic stories for us to start believing him. I want to.

after you confronted the OP he didn't post anymore in this thread he just made a post in the gamble section and then in the Beginners & Help section and stopped posting, but interestingly he logs into the forum, this kind of behavior is not good, Is suspicious behavior.

When it comes to the Internet, verification for credibility always becomes a problem and a lot of persons get away with lies. Though, in exact seems to agree in both threads and that is; the available finance to operate with but that too is a claim.

A signed message on an address with such amount as stated by LoyceV could stand as proof and offer some credibility to the story but, I don't think OP could do that having no computer coding knowledge. Perhaps, its going to be pinned on his or her associate, at least OP stated that one clearly, that he or she didn't work alone.

Come visit? Now that seems like a privacy bridge doesn't it... though in a way, its an advert for the firm to El-Salvadorians on the forum too. Mean while, I don't think you need a license to install an app on a device, it's the same thing.

Glad to see that someone has actually read what OP wrote. Without having to go into the details of the OP account history (thanks @LoyceV) as soon as I read the part of connecting banks to crypto wallets, all internally by a team of teammates became suspicious.

Nobody is going to trust a group of randoms with their bank accounts and what not to help them connect to crypto. No one in the right mind would do that, because it opens up a lot of personal vulnerabilities against which there's no protection. If I may add - this to me looks like big pile of lies (don't want to use scam) that directly...

it is still illegal to adopt in my country Indonesia. Because bitcoin adoption cannot be done easily because of some of the risks that bitcoin or cryptocurrencies have. Bitcoin has become a well-known digital currency throughout the world, but some developing countries are still reluctant to fully adopt bitcoin. Bitcoin is still a commodity asset only. The adoption of bitcoin that is currently happening is in the country of el salvador and currently el salvador will create a bitcoin city and of course everything will be integrated with bitcoin.

you scan our barcodes, get our wallet make your

deposit we give you the US dollars equivalent in cash.

Creative ideas like this must be supported, because they have provided a good path in the future. I think the use of bitcoin should really be easier and less difficult. just scan and everything is approved, it's very interesting, like digital payment applications in my country apply it

Yes, people won't trust a group in a blind note. There needs to be some reputation gained in the community. Maybe that can help with the initial days of your business. From the above post it is clear that they're writing stories, but the concept seems to be good. Because, it supports people who aren't good enough to make use of the holdings. Also in a country like El Salvador the market is open and the government is supportive. Maybe some startup can initiate this as a business.

some red flags already mentioned. but ofcourse there was also the:
"helping you set up your government-approved wallet and receive your $30 BTC airdrop"

bye bye to all them $30's.

im pretty sure el salvador government has already send out official literature to its citizens on how they can set up their own wallet and start using bitcoin. without having to use some anonymous teenager to be an 'agent'

Well, Hopefully Preston gold is going to continue to be here and will have enough authentic stories for us to start believing him.
This is the worse kind of plagiarism I have seen in my life... direct copy and paste. I hope this was unintentional and you were trying to quote amishmanish post instead. Looking closer it is obvious it wasn't an attempt to quote the op because some part of the original boost was deleted and link in the OP is copied as a text in the plagiarised post. I took the time to look at your post history, I'm not convinced this was a mistake. Frankly this is the longest post you have written.

plagiarism is usually about content of value, significant meaning, raising reputation via being copied and treated as the second persons own creation without reference to its original content creator.

some posts on forums have no significant value nor cause loss to the original creator. so most just treat it as just "lazy-noob stuff".

true plagiarism is like the fakers pretending they invented bitcoin and then scam people.
basically no one cares about lazy-noob stuff, cant do anything about it. its the crazy scammy people trying to rip people off for real value/reputation you should put your efforts into calling out.

i dont consider the quotes the worse plagiarism ever seen. especially when it is not even in the same ball park as the 'im satoshi' attempts

If this is true, this is a great innovation and initiative for our community. Having the younger generation be interested in programming and eventually making a contribution to the betterment of our community is something to appreciate. Taking the few steps to make the today and future better is a huge move most especially for those who are into doing cryptocurrency. This will be of great help to your country El Salvador and hopefully, it would be adopted worldwide and make the same initiative by other countries as well.

Using the lightning network to avoid the unnecessary and huge amount of transaction fees is a good choice so that people would spend less whenever they need to. In addition, the transactions would be faster compared to using other networks which is nice as well most especially having it as payment method given that btc is already approved as a legal tender in your country. Hopefully, your innovation will pass the testings, and may you and your partner/s continually pursue to achieve it until you finally make it.
