I remember when the price of btc was high in 2017, theymos had an idea of seasted, a place for bitcoiners.
I know my idea is very far from it but something came to my mind after listening to Arknights 2021 Song
Long story short, Starset is my favourite rock band, I know their lead singer Dustin Bates, just met him in concerts and always had some conversations. He is very interested in science and technologies... Well, he wrote a song for the Chinese mobile game - Arknights. What about if we spend some of the forum's funds on this and write the official Bitcoin song?
I am into marketing too and love the way League of legends promote their product via songs, one such an amazing thing for btc by starset or imagine dragons or another popular band? Person? Not a bad idea )))

and why does bitcoin need music? FIAT has music? because in my country I never heard that my country's currency had music. with all due respect for your idea, but I think it is unnecessary for bitcoin to have music as it is something like money. bitcoin is already in a good adoption and exposure in the world. I see no reason to make an official song about bitcoin.

paypal has already taken charge of creating a big exposure for bitcoin and other giants will do it naturally. at the current level bitcoin is already known worldwide

It is just true that bitcoin is already known world wide, from normal investors to institutions now and promising that bitcoin is going mainstream. But having a song for bitcoin is not bad at all, it can still help let people to know more about bitcoin. But the main  issue now which I have found out is that some people even wish to invest in bitcoin but they do not yet know how to, these are the people surrounding me now. I think looking for ways to simplify bitcoin to these such people should worth more attention.

There are already a few songs about Bitcoin and other Coins was coimg out in the last years !
For sure there was not an offical bitcoin song and the next question is who can decide or a decision that a song is the Offical ones !
The most Artist i guess have done some kind of songs maybe only for just pushing there Image and things.

Bitcoin can be promoted and adopted in musical industries that way, especially it can push apple to accept bitcoin on iTunes.  A song that will be as amazing as those that I wrote and will have millions of views and active listeners worldwide, what can be a better promotion for adoption? And for spreading the message?

I love the idea but there are already tons of bitcoin related songs existing (Bitcoin Billionaire is my favorite though had a hilarious ending ). And my other question is if we will make another one, who has the right and power to make it "official"?

I guess this kind of promotion won't be as effective compared to informative ads. IMO much better if we place some funds on promoting this forum by placing ads in social media platforms and let the audience be curious and explore bitcoin by themselves.

I believe that these are the type of initiatives that are born alone and the community does not look for them, it finds them organically.
It is not that they cannot exist, in fact how to avoid them ...

Bitcoin is serious and should not be a generator but of social, economic, technological changes based on its technology.

The foregoing does not exempt you from these initiatives, but you do not have to directly involve a community with them.

In any case, anyone who includes the word bitcoin in a song does not imply anything that has to be related to bitcoin and if it were, this would not have to be the flag song of a community.

I believe you wanted to say, "unofficial" instead of "official". Bitcoin has no official website, no official dev team, no official planner, no official song, no official nothing. If you want to make a song for bitcoin, go make one but it won't be "official". The word "official" simply doesn't exist in the world of bitcoin.

The problem with that when you take a popular band is that they have then the copyrights for that , and this means you cant use it official as a Song for Bitcoin.
The Music industry and copyrights is really crazy , if there would be a song and it gets uploaded to the coming Youtube Channel for Bitcointalk it would be a problem.
If there will be something done like a Song it must be copyright free and the next thing is in what kind of Music style you would be going ?
Not everybody likes Rock , Rap , Trap , Rnb , Metall or Techno , just my 2 cents as i making now over 20 years and produce Music .
Lots of things there you have to think about it.
