Bitcoin bitcoin and more bitcoin.  Any serious money should go into serious investments.  Bitcoin has the safest upside to go 10x.  In all honesty in a bearish market you want to keep away from all the real crap tokens out there.  Good luck either way

If you only want to invest in a single coin, you can choose Bitcoin or Ethereum. These two coins are the most appropriate crypto coins to hold for a long time. So, after buying Bitcoin or Ethereum, you can hold it in your wallet and wait for the next bullrun. If we learn the halving history, the next bullrun probably happens in 2024 or 2025. It means you need to hold it for 2-3 years.

Not to offend you but this is a bad strategy IMHO. That's a lot to diversify if you're going to hold 10-15 cryptocurrencies with that amount. Well, I'd choose the best and quality crypto and few with it then have a lot and being diversified a lot. In my experience, having a few in your portfolio but they're the best of the best is still a good choice if you're going to invest in the market. Yes, it's a good idea to choose from the top 100 as they're at the top but that doesn't mean that you have to choose most of them there. It's still needing to have a basic research because there are some coins that are not included in the top 100 but they're being liked by its own community and has a use case.

i tend to disagree on this mate because 2 of the coins in rank 10 are stable coins so those are not considered as investment in crypto because this does not bring anything in profit but just like bank with safety assurance .

with 30,000 usd i will invest in altcoins which are in the top 20 and if i choose one i will invest in bnb and i will keep it long term because i think bnb is a coin with a good project and coin belongs to market no1 so it's definitely a coin it will rise high in the future.

There is no  need for single investment , instead you can diversify and at least put in 5 different currencies for sure safety .

Since metaverse will be the most sort after sector for the next couple of years, it will be appropriate to invest in this sector so as to get the most benefits from your investment. I would have preferred you diving as that is exactly what I would have done but since you already have a method, I will suggest you investing in Gala Token.
Gala is looking very promising of recent and it has some association with the metaverse which will be having a good run this year. It did not have much run last year as mostly the top coin gains but coins like Gala will be having their bull run this year if the cycle continues.
