Hi everyone,

I am new to mining (even to Bitcoin, truth be told). I’ve done some research on this forum, but as you can imagine due to the complexity of Bitcoin, the experience was pretty overwhelming so far.

However, I have stumbled upon CompassMining. Now, I’ve seen some „not very flattering“ comments about them but not any kind of „deep dive“. Is considering mining with them such a bad idea?

Their „Mini Bundle“ doesn’t seem such a bad deal, given the price of S19j (7500USD) and the electricity costs (which aren’t super low but quite decent IMO)

I am aware of the delay between the initial payment and installments of all the machines and of course the hash rate and difficulty can only be guessed and so on... But do you think, that it is possible, based on your calculations, experiences, and opinions to mine with them and make a profit or at least break even?

What could be the alternatives?

Thanks
