I think we should not mix up religion and the dreams of making money.
I agree that people are more interested in acquiring more and more money but we should not mix it up with religion no religion teaches it, followers, to acquire money in illegal ways.
Religion is a personal matter of every individual which should not be mixed up with the greed of acquiring more money.

That's right we have to agree first that basically all religions don't teach how to earn money illegally,
everything does require money but if the method we use to get money is illegal such as stealing of course it is opposed

There must be clarity on how to make money illegally and by what means, because illegal has nothing to do with religion and legal or illegal only has to do with law.
And as I know, religion requires us to be rich in order to live happily and also fulfill our needs and but in a good way and not the result of stealing or usurping people's rights.

if you mean crypto or bitcoin I don't think it has anything to do with religion because everyone just wants to make money from there in a good way and for the welfare of their family, unless they get it from theft or fraud and it's forbidden by religion and also law.

Religion should be a very personal individual matter that connects the person to God through his faith, but in fact, that isn't what really happens in most religions, especially the most powerful ones, that are also coincidentally the wealthiest ones. These religions don't preach the independence of their followers in search for their inner connection with God, instead they preach the subservience to men who speak for the religions.

And to make this process work efficiently, religions have a common element behind: money. That is logical, because religions attract suffering, needing, hopeless people. Some have money, but have an empty feeling inside themselves at same time, so they donate and enrich the religions to try appeasing that bite feeling (as religions promise it will happen), while others are desperate for money and also approach religions for that reason, being helped through donations, if they become serfs of a religion in particular.

This way religions keep growing and gathering more followers within time. The more money they have, faster and more intensily it happens. So yes, money and wealth can be considered the major religions in the world... But I can't say if it's so bad as it looks at first glance, because maybe there is a positive purpose on it on long run, that only God knows.

I did see a documentary about people going to the jungle because they have a lot of debts and after selling everything to pay them off, they went to the jungle to spend their lives without money, hunting for food, growing food, and so on. To be sure, you make an excellent point that the world today could not improve without money, but it did for our forefathers. However, what people are doing now is so greedy for money that they are willing to harm others in order to obtain it. It does indeed bring happiness, but true happiness has a different definition.

Yeah, everyone is working throughout their life to make that money but you know the money is just made kf paper and doesn't hold any intrinsic value. Wealth is different and you can't become rich by working, it only happens when your money work for you which we call it as passive income.

It's not that simple. I've seen many people, on TV, on YouTube and in real life, who think that they are wealthy because "God loves them". And they are not some cult members or something. I'm talking about Jews, Muslims, Christians and Hindus. Yeah, any religion is saying something like "We should not be greedy”, but people, high priests, most of all, accumulate a lot of wealth, "Earn Wealth by Deeds of Glory", or whatever.

Living just to make money? I feel the emptiness and bitter naivety of life that you experience so that everything (especially things as big as life) you value in terms of money. Try to explore your life, find your life, feel your life then you will realize that money is only a means, not everything.

I have no rebuttal for this. However that's not enough to say that people are worshiping money just coz they spend a lot their waking hours trying to earn it. Money most of all is simply "value". I don't think it dissimilar to early humans and their subsistence farming. You just do what you gotta do to survive. For them it's growing their own food, for us it's earning money so we can buy our food.

We accumulate wealth because we have the ability to plan for the future and that future requires resources if we and our descendants are to stay alive to see it. I would even dare say this is what sets us apart from animals.

I don't think there are concrete concepts that are quite literally with this somewhat abstract aspect.  But I think there is still a clear distinction, rich people and rich people often play with rich people, that's just one of the cases, it's similar to a big religion, where only they and god are the people greatest for their lives and ideals.

money is now a benchmark for respecting someone to others (this is how the world works), without money, your family will find it difficult to get treatment, go to school, go to worship and even do other activities. Religion is a spiritual need, while money is a primary human need.
