Best Way to Refer to the society?

We all live in a place and an environment which we deem fit for us,
We care for it in our capacity and with the little way we can in making it better.
These couple with others has made some people classified the society in their
own way or normal societal way, so how should the society be referred, that will
make it more better for the entity living in it?

Should it be referred to as "MY SOCIETY" in personal terms or
                                       "OUR SOCIETY" for the benefit of all?

My society is kind of related with dictatorship which is not going to make the life better for us but for them only. Our society is the right term to refer to whenever you are going to use it anywhere.

True, i agree with you on how you see it. Society is a group of people living together in a community and every society has different culture and practices. So it is a matter of feeling or your choice on how you call it.

It is neither.  It is just "The society" you happen to live in at the moment.

If you immigrate to another country, you will be living in another 'society', lol.
Just a bunch of H. sapiens living in the same area.

You don't own it (hence it is not 'my', 'your', or 'our'), and if you are smart about
how you structure your personal affairs, it does not own you.

Its your choice to call it what ever you wish the goal should be making it inhabitable for others around you. You could choose to call it our Society yet people around you try to find their place around you. Apparently, we all share our common environment and in turn society so, any form of personalization would be out rightly wrong. Anything we do from our place of dwelling is most likely to affect there neighbour. Hence, its more important for us to behave in a way that, its sure to be beneficial for everyone and not just for a single persona. The little things we tend to ignore do count and as such, we must endeavour to be positive in all that we do, try to teach and inspire morals. Well, benefit of all should have prevailed against their own benefit and whatever is done, should be done in the betterment of society. Just play your part and obligations towards your society and never think for the return. Also don't think about what others are doing or following we just need to pay our own part and obligations. Also just think positively towards society and try to do all the things in positive and constructive matters. Believe me, it would change both the society and personal (own) life in a single time span.

Questions like this show that just like myself, you are a critical thinker. We all know that what one sees as personal, one takes good care of it. Reference to the society with a personal context "my society" creates a personal sense of responsibility in an individual, the individual will perceive his immediate society as a personal space and will want to be more responsible about it, that is take care of it as much as they can.

"Our society" in reference, though it shows willingness to share makes the society a public space owned by everybody, and we know that what everybody owns is usually not as cared for as a private thing. So personally, reference to the society with the personal context -"my society" is what i advocate.

The society today is no longer the society of yesterday.It has changed good from good to bad.The rate of corruption in the society today,takes the grace of God for one that doesn't do such to have a reasonable work to do.

Well said. How much use does YouTube bring, previously we went to libraries for useful information and spent several days looking for it. In addition, everything changes very quickly, and it takes a long time to write books.

Well, just as we don't get stuck in a traffic jam, but we are actually the traffic , for society, it is neither our society or my society, it's just society, as in, including you and everyone. It's such a bad word, a more apt word would be regional culture, since society sounds like a corporation in which there are some rules which everyone should follow, and in 21st century I don't think such thoughts need to be validated.
